Not really, that was the dem legislators complaining at the new congressional map, which eliminates most of them.... to give you an idea Florida winds up countering the dems changes in several states with 5 new safe red seats. As a side note their complaining meant this bill wasn’t even debated just voted on immediately.

I read an article about the crybaby FL Dems sitting on the floor of the FL House of Representatives.

The camera feeds of the Florida Channel got cut off very quickly.

They tried it because Republicans haven't done more than mildly complain when corporations took sides on cultural issues, or let activists pester them into stepping in. Disney (amoung many other people, it's not like this was something loads of people saw coming) didn't realize how thin the Republican's patience with them was running, nor did the consider that with Destantis gearing up for a president run, putting a woke companies head on a pike works out much better for him then for them.
 
Maybe Musk could save Disney too.

If the stock drops enough from this shit, and the other things (Uighurs/China stuff, perhaps) other stuff he might actually be able to get enough backers together to buy out the current owners, and oust the wokies.

The only reason I haven't cancelled our Disney+ is because I am not going to let Disney's stupidity get in the way of the Star Wars fandom.

If Musk could just buy Star Wars away Disney, I'd even just settle for that.
