When Graham was thrown down into that canyon, he fell into the all forgiving hands of his God.
Someone was watching over him that day.

His survival alone is something that cannot be done by normal people. But if he was a legitimate superhuman wouldn't it mitigate or diminish his remarkable story of survival as 'the Burned Man?'
You would be very surprised at what people could live through. His survival alone is something that cannot be done by normal people.

A stewardess did survive a fall from 30,000 feet plus there are other instances of multi thousand feet falls people lived through.I don't think anyone normal could survive being burned alive and thrown into the grand canyon afterwards. Nevermind walk away from said incident.

Hell one man in Japan survived TWO nuclear attacks. Lived until the 1990's.
Those aren't comparable instances at all because they still had people helping them afterwards. Joshua also is covered head to toe in third degree burns. No one could actually survive that severe of a burning on its own nevermind the fact that they would have to also survive being in the wilderness with no supplies for a prolonged period.

Joshua is at least canonically superhumanly durable, with 10 Endurance. Which the novelty vigor tester lists as "Unstoppable".
He's also apparently tougher in his birthday suit, than power armor with a whopping 50 DT. Although THAT seems a little gamey, because at that point fire wouldn't even hurt him...
The fire absolutely hurt him though, dude is in constant pain and apparently the burns never heal.Fire not hurting him seems intentional

Well...Buffout gives temp END, which doesn't count for perk gains and the like. That could have something to do with it. I don't think any non-boss character has 10 END naturally though. Thus the moral of the Honest Hearts story is if your merely some tough as nails chap about to be yeeted off the Grand Canyon... Pop a Buffout and get in a long rest and you too can experience the miracle of divinity.
To sort of explain the FO3 power armor issue. The FO3 Enclave are kind-of a radical retarded sect of the Enclave so all of their shit is unique and made only for them. Their power armor is named Mk2 but is only coincidentally named Mk2 instead of trying to replace the OG Mk2. Even in FO2 most Enclave soldiers wore Mk1 as far as I remember, with Mk2 being very modern and rare. So, watched some lore videos, stumbled into a Bethesda continuity fuckup. "Advanced Power Armor Mark II" ended up reused to refer to the "Black Devil" power armor in Fallout 3, when it was already used in Fallout 2.
The Creation Club hand-wave is obviously wrong because the "Black Devil" armor is standard-issue, and the Tesla variant is very obviously aged meaning it can't be particularly recent. This can in turn be handwaved as the individual "Black Devil" of that dubiously-canonical quest being an early user of the platform defecting well before Fallout 3.
My own thought to square this is to lean into Fallout 4's armor modification system, where all the Fallout 2 suits are still "X-01" but of higher Marks and better modifications, including an unnamed weight-saving Material mod and standard-issue Motion-Assist Servos, while the tesla modification seen only in the Gannon family's suit was a parallel project.
Then FO3 "Advanced Power Armor Mark II" is properly X-02, rolling advancements throughout the Advanced Power Armor Project and some advantages of the Hellfire prototypes into the core design allowing for simultaneous use of the weight-savings, strength enhancements, and tesla coils.
Then their base got nuked from the inside by its own reactor and they were forced to migrate by losing a war, leading to only a scarce handful of as-intended units produced and the standard issue worse than Brotherhood t51, which has long left being accurate to call t51b from incidentally scraping minor iterative improvements the entire post-war period.
X-01 power armor is somehow Pre-war despite being Enclave armor, which cannot possibly exist until hundreds of years into the future. So already that is all fucked up, especially because it's very unlikely that T-45d power armor can share parts with Enclave Armor Mk2.
X-02 is even more nonsensical because not only was it inferior to T-51b in FO3, the OG enclave armor never HAD the designation of X-01. So why would they name it's sequel after an obscure quantum soda armor over two hundred years old?
And yet Todd "Tell me Lies" Howard has us by the balls! That was a really really shitty retcon that should have never happened.
