It gets worse if you chase down the
actual story, as I did because I wasn't sure it was real.
The mother is particularly concerned not over the behavior itself, but that he included
black students on his list.
Another concern is that we are white and some of the kids on the list are Black. Given the long history of white people policing Black existence, I question whether Jack is the right person to be taking on this task and whether it would be more appropriate coming from a BIPOC person.
Her concern isn't about the list, it's about the skin color of people on the list and whether a white male should be allowed to maintain it.
