The lack of this.
A few years ago, there were more people interested in debate on this forum, and a lower proportion of black-pilled doom-posting and shit-flinging. You've unfortunately come in after most of the more thoughtful posters have either reduced their activity levels, or just left outright.
I used to read basically every post on every thread (discounting 49ers pseudo-spam threads); now, I skip past a lot of stuff because it's the same half-dozen people retreading the same points, or someone who joined/became more active a couple months ago and mostly just hysterically posts.
If you want more honest and interesting discourse, I'd recommend you actually post less, and certainly don't post like the first post I quoted. Engaging the people who are beyond reasoning with isn't productive, and poking them like that just sets off more hysterics.
Some of the posters (like Zachowon) if you can engage them one on one, more carefully, patiently, and thoughtfully, you can get some interesting discussion, though it can really try your patience with how lazy he is about spelling and grammar. Interruptions from the black-pillers and hysterical types can derail that pretty fast though.
As I've said before, most conservatives, as opposed to black-pilled reactionaries who don't like leftism but don't have a coherent ideology of their own, don't have the time or interest to be on an internet forum in the first place, and those that do crop up here, don't post anywhere near as much as the types struggling to find something meaningful in their lives.
