Yeah, OVAs not an oversized pilot for a regular anime. The OVAs I'm talking about didn't have a series they were being a sequel to. I'm talking about stuff like Bubblegum Crisis and Key: The Metal Idol.
Some rando on Youtube is creating this masterpiece
DC's doing an official Suicide Squad Isekai.
This just looks fun.
I'd rather Japan focus on making quality original anime than tie one for western capeshit.Harley Quinn was made for anime.
So would I, but their entire production pipeline is fucked and basically makes original anime a non-starter, so them getting more money by doing western productions is better than nothing.I'd rather Japan focus on making quality original anime than tie one for western capeshit.
Um, dude there are tons of anime coming out, and a lot of it is either original or based on Manga/LNs.So would I, but their entire production pipeline is fucked and basically makes original anime a non-starter, so them getting more money by doing western productions is better than nothing.

And capeshit in general is dying out and the market has been oversaturated.
I am currently enjoying Zom100 despite there's an episode with a NSFW moment in one episode (so far). It is certainly better than High School of the Dead (for those who don't know, that is probably the most "zombie-precise" Japanese walking dead fiction because how differently the Japanese see the undead from us) and does touch upon a very important subject that could be relevant also to Western audiences : when you basically work to live.
Which version, the neon pink warningflag green diejob one we got as of late, or the classic black and red clown/mime getup? While I don't disagree I meant more along the lines that Harley Quinns design was made for anime

I prefer green hair hooters clothes Harley, myself. Both would suit an anime design but the classic one more so
TLDR : Japan's proposed new law might actually make more difficult to make anime and remove anonimity for those who partecipate in it for...reasons?
Who knows. I just noticed they pulled a very Mediterranean/ South European kind of thing : adding more bureaucracy or a law or laws just because they can.So I guess Japan just wants to export their animation industry to Korea?
