Down in South Africa, this guy's been clamoring for threatening the police there.
@Scottty what are your thoughts? Empty posturing or just misdirection?
No, I think he's serious. That sort of talk has been EFF rhetoric for a few years already.
On the one hand, I can sort of see his point - people who abuse the power they are given should not be allowed to hide behind their uniforms.
On the other hand... Malema's approach to the problem might lead to a society where instead of Joe who lives next door having a job as a policeman, the cops all sleep in a barracks somewhere, interact with the rest of the population only when "on the clock", and otherwise live in their own social bubble.
And on the gripping hand, South Africa has been under black ANC rule for about 25 years now. Apartheid is long gone. So why is this clown pretending that he's still fighting some sort of struggle against racial oppression?
Wasn't this guy kicked out of ANC for undrmining the leadership and then started his own party, with being more radical being his shtick, so he can dupe people into voting for him and get those sweet parliament gibs.
The gravy train, we call it.
