Eritrea is evenly split between Christians and Muslims, like Nigeria. No one is certain whether Eritrea is Christian or Muslim majority.
Do you know if the Eritreans in Israel are primarily Christians or Muslims?

my bet is that people get really really religious and christianity gets used as the cement to keep everyone together.
Since white people, black people and hispanic people are all christians this seems pretty likely to me. It does mean we are all going to have to find ways to acomidate religion and be more respectful but it does prevent the worst case senerio.

The biggest winners in the Diversity Visa Lottery are, of course, Muslims, Africans, and Eastern Europeans. But it's good that high school dropouts are largely prevented from participating in this lottery. Helps to ensure that we get more high-quality immigrants that way.

It's not optimal for anyone who isn't Christian period; but as long as they don't go full puritanical purge on the rest of us who don't share their beliefs, I think we could live with each other. At the very least, dealing with people in power trying to convert me with words instead of threats would be an improvement.
Who exactly is trying to convert you? And to what religion? AFAIK, even Muslims in the US generally don't try to convert non-believers.

Progressivism is very much a religion, or should I say a cult? And they do try to convert people very hard, and are not picky in how they do it.
TBF, progressivism per se is not bad; it's Wokeness that's bad. Sam Harris-style rational progressivism is actually quite good. He's willing to question the basic tenets of Islam, to invite Charles Murray on his show to discuss possible genetic causes for racial and ethnic average IQ gaps without ever shaming Murray for being open to this hypothesis, et cetera.
