Israeli-Hamas War News & Updates

It seems as though a ceasefire has been reached between Israel & Hezbollah, to go into effect tomorrow morning (local time).

Terms include:
  • Israel withdraws from Lebanese territory over the next 60 days. (Trump's 2nd inauguration is in ~50.)
  • Hezbollah withdraws back north over the Litani River.
  • The Lebanese Army will be tasked with securing Southern Lebanon and enforcing the deal.
  • The US and France will help monitor for violations and provide support to the Lebanese Army.
  • Israel reserves the right to attack Hezbollah not only if they're attacked first, but also if Hezbollah is seen as violating the agreement in any way: to quote Netanyahu's words from the end of the article '"If Hezbollah violates the agreement and tries to arm itself, we will attack. If it tries to rebuild terrorist infrastructure near the border, we will attack. If it launches a rocket, if it digs a tunnel, if it brings in a truck carrying rockets, we will attack," he [Netanyahu] asserted.'
  • There is no requirement for Israel to cease anything in Gaza, this deal doesn't seem to have anything to do with Gaza at all despite that having been Hezbollah's big stated goal heading into this war last year.
Well it's not like there's going to be Israeli tanks rolling through Beirut nor is Hezbollah to be completely destroyed by Israel's hand, but other than that, if this deal holds it seems to be a pretty complete Israeli victory on the northern front. (Arguably it isn't really Israel's job but rather that of the Lebanese to see to Hezbollah's final defeat anyway, since Lebanon is their country after all, if they can pull it off - and Hezbollah is still massively weaker than it's ever been since its earliest days, as they've still taken thousands of losses & had enormous damage done to their warfighting ability for this result...) Direct American involvement in monitoring for ceasefire violations and Israel retaining the ability to attack targets in Lebanon not even if they're attacked first, but if they so much as suspect Hezbollah is rearming in violation of the ceasefire seem to be the biggest differences compared to the negotiations which ended the 2006 war.

As Netanyahu says in that video, Hezbollah being pushed back frees Israel up to turn all its focus onto Hamas. He also seems to be expecting some massive weapon shipments being held up by Biden, to come & replenish Israel's own stocks the minute Trump is inaugurated. Also, naturally Israel & Hezbollah have both still been scrambling to complete any objectives they still can & get their last (for now) hits in today, before the ceasefire formally goes into effect.

Apparently the cease fire doesn't quite apply to Syria.

Salman Jumaa, Hezbollah's liaison with the Syrian Army, was apparently killed on the road to Damascus International Airport.

Izrael usually break all agreements it made.Notching new.It would be strange,if they do not attacked.
And for what? Izrael really hate christians there, becouse only result of their action would be another christian genocide.

Turns out the recent clashes between Israel and Hezbollah was Hezbollah's greatest victory yet.

By stating that Israel needed time to replenish its weapons, it had admitted it has been defeated and weakened by Hezbollah's greatest sacrifices yet!

Victory through the greatest of sacrifices...

Israeli retaliatory airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen after the Houthis fired missiles at Isreal last week, injuring a dozen civilians.

Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis and Iran have all denounced the Israeli strikes as barbaric.

Also reportedly lost were the two F-5's used in Houthi "Top Gun" style propaganda videos by the Houthis.

What "military engagement"? The retards they're fighting (Hamas) are the equivalent of a wet paper kitten, let alone paper tiger.

It's listed eighteen engagements. Hamas has won thirteen of them. The other five are merely ongoing. Every IDF victory only occurred on October 7th itself and failed verification. Meanwhile Hamas won that campaign.

Pretty clear IDF cannot defeat wet paper kitten. Sad.

I looked at the article and couldn't find anywhere they were declaring victories and defeats tbh

Hamas record is comparable to Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar. Easily surpasses Napoleon.

Aw dammit, I was excited to fact-check their references

According to Wikipedia Israel hasn't won a single verified military engagement since the conflict began...

Hopefully more adversaries of the decadent West adopt the proven peer reviewed victorious battlefield tactics of Hamas in the future

The cowardly IDF is so bad and runs away from battle so fast that they've looped all the way back to advancing forward and conquering territory. Military doctrine of horseshoe theory confirmed.

In all seriousness, how delusional are those Wikipedia editors? Hamas have had their logistics and infrastructure all but destroyed, their command structure decapitated, their allies dismantled, and the cream of the crop scythed down like wheat in harvest.

This war has been an emphatic disaster for those baby butchering bastards. Watching them mald about how hard they lost puts a spring in my step. Just a shame how many Palestinians have had to die for their people’s pathological chip in the shoulder.
