Israeli-Hamas War News & Updates

The cowardly IDF is so bad and runs away from battle so fast that they've looped all the way back to advancing forward and conquering territory. Military doctrine of horseshoe theory confirmed.
Yup,it is fake.
But,they also forget to mention that Mossad gave Hamas power over Gaza,so they lied for your country, too.

In all seriousness, how delusional are those Wikipedia editors? Hamas have had their logistics and infrastructure all but destroyed, their command structure decapitated, their allies dismantled, and the cream of the crop scythed down like wheat in harvest.

Not too long ago it was revealed there's a whole army of pro-Hamas Wikpedians coordinating the mass editing of articles to support Hamas narratives.

Israel and Hamas agree on a ceasefire, according to media company Axios reporter Barak Ravid citing American officials but did not provide any more details.
Reuters Article
DOHA/CAIRO/JERUSALEM, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Negotiators reached a deal on Wednesday for a ceasefire in the Gaza war between Israel and Hamas, an official briefed on the negotiations told Reuters, after 15 months of conflict that has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians and inflamed the Middle East.
The deal, not yet formally announced, outlines a six-week initial ceasefire phase and includes the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and release of hostages held by Hamas in exchange for Palestinian detainees held by Israel, an official briefed on the negotiations told Reuters.

The agreement follows months of on-off negotiations brokered by Egyptian and Qatari mediators, with the backing of the United States, and came just ahead of the Jan. 20 inauguration of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.
Hamas, Gaza's dominant Palestinian militant group, told Reuters its delegation had handed mediators its approval for the ceasefire agreement and return of hostages.
A Palestinian official, who asked not to be named, told Reuters earlier Hamas had given verbal approval to the ceasefire and hostage return proposal under negotiation in Qatar and was waiting for more information to give final written approval.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said he was cutting a visit to Europe short and flying back to Israel overnight to take part in security cabinet and government votes on the deal - meaning the votes would likely be by or on Thursday.
Israeli troops invaded Gaza after Hamas-led gunmen broke through security barriers and burst into Israeli communities on Oct. 7, 2023, killing 1,200 soldiers and civilians and abducting more than 250 foreign and Israeli hostages.

Israel's campaign in Gaza has killed more than 46,000 people, according to Gaza health ministry figures, and left the coastal enclave a wasteland of rubble with hundreds of thousands surviving the winter cold in tents and makeshift shelters.
As his inauguration approached, Trump repeated his demand that a deal be done swiftly, warning repeatedly that there would be "hell to pay" if the hostages were not released. His Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff worked with President Joe Biden's team to push the deal over the line.

In Israel, the return of the hostages may ease some of the public anger against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his right-wing government over the Oct. 7 security failure that led to the deadliest single day in the country's history.
The conflict spread across the Middle East, with Iran-backed proxies in Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen attacking Israel in solidarity with the Palestinians. The deal comes after Israel killed the top leaders of Hamas and Lebanon's Hezbollah in assassinations which gave it the upper hand.
Al Jazeera
Hamas has told Al Jazeera Arabic that the group's delegation has delivered its approval of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement to mediators. Israel has yet to announce a response to the proposal.

Trump just took the Biden legacy out behind the shed and put it down for good with this move. Fantastic political maneuvering from Trump, a stark contrast with Biden's servile conciliation toward foreign powers.
Probably also did it because he doesn't like Bibi anymore. From what I heard he shared an interview from Jeffrey Sachs, a Harvard-educated and Columbia professor, who is also Jewish, that Bibi is a "dark sob".

Specifically a "deep, dark sonovabitch". @Iconoclast might have the video off hand iirc but I do not

You know what never ceases to amaze me? How quickly Trump can hash out peace deals that everyone else is apparently helpless to accomplish, and how the media and RINOs always manage to spin it as something negative, as if he was "cozying up to America's enemies". They're just miffed they don't get to sign any more shells. :ROFLMAO:

It seems the agreement may not fall through. Netanyahu's office announced that Hamas wants to back out of part of the agreement. The office wrote in a statement that the terrorist movement "demands that it be allowed to decide which terrorists will be released." The Israeli side believes that this goes against the agreement. Hamas is objecting to Netanyahu's statement that new demands have been made since Wednesday
It was not yet clear if Netanyahu's statements merely reflected jockeying to keep his fractious coalition together or whether the deal was at risk.
But there is a possibility that both sides are waiting to see who blinks first.
AP Article
On Thursday night, Netanyahu's office announced that Hamas wants to back out of part of the agreement. The office wrote in a statement that the terrorist movement "demands that it be allowed to decide which terrorists will be released."
The Israeli side believes that this goes against the agreement. Netanyahu has therefore instructed the negotiators to reject the demand.
The agreement would bring about the release of 33 hostages over the coming six weeks in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners and an Israeli withdrawal from many parts of the territory.
On Thursday, Netanyahu announced that today's government meeting where a decision on a ceasefire in Gaza would have been made was being canceled, reports the AP.
"Hamas is creating a crisis at the last minute that prevents an agreement," the Israeli government wrote in a press release. According to Reuters, Hamas is objecting to Netanyahu's statement that new demands have been made since Wednesday. Spokesperson Izzat el-Reshiq states that Hamas continues to stand behind the agreement that was previously negotiated.
The mediators had also hoped to reach an agreement in three phases, but so far Israel and Hamas, which is a terrorist group, are only close to an agreement on the first.
It is also worth noting that some of the right wing members of the Knesset are threatening to leave the coalition if an agreement is reached.
Agreement (to my knowledge) :
In the first phase, Hamas will release 33 Israeli hostages, including all women, children and men over 50, according to a bulleted list published by Reuters. It is unclear how many of the 33 hostages are still alive, but the hostage who is alive will be released first, according to the agreement.
In exchange, Israel will release 30 Palestinian prisoners for every civilian hostage released and 50 for every female soldier released. (
Hamas wants to choose how is released but Israel doesn’t agree, this is the point that has broken down current negotiations.)
In total, the thousands of Palestinians who will soon be released will be released. In addition, 600 trucks carrying humanitarian aid will be allowed to enter Gaza each day during the ceasefire, 50 of which will carry fuel.
After 16 days of ceasefire, the next phase is expected to be negotiated. This phase will reportedly include a permanent ceasefire, reconstruction, the release of the remaining hostages and a complete withdrawal of Israeli soldiers.
Edit: The agreement have been reached again after yesterday (16 Jan) spat about how was to be released. The exact date is unclear of it being enforced. According to The Times of Israel, citing a government spokesman the cabinet meeting will not be held until Saturday (19 Jan) evening. Since opponents of the agreement must then be given 24 hours to appeal, this means that the ceasefire may not take effect until Monday – a day later than planned.

I guess it was inevitable that Israel would lose its seven front War. I just didn't expect it to be so clear and decisive.

The four young women have been held hostage for over 400 days. On Saturday, they were released by Hamas as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement between the terrorist group and Israel, reports the BBC. They were handed over to Red Cross staff shortly after 10 am.
They are Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy and Liri Albag. All are soldiers and were under 20 when they were captured.
At the same time, around 200 Palestinian prisoners are expected to be released from the Israeli Ofer prison just outside Ramallah. Exactly when this will happen is currently unclear.

I don't know if the video says it, but there's also the fact that Don has a grudge against Bibi because Netan was the first one to congratulate Biden on his victory 4 years ago.
It's because of a grudge, suuuure....
Exhibit number million why listening to lefty narratives is not worth your time.

He can hash out a "deal" because by lefty standards it is a wrong deal made by wrong means.
What wrong means?
The sort lefty people wanted the opposite of.
No more shells to sign? Really? Did you really track what happened days earlier?
On the contrary, 1st day he lets them get bigger bombs that lefties cried about to Biden so he stopped supplying them.
Trump lifted all restrictions on the sales of arms to America's ally Israel, including the supply of 2,000-pound bombs held back by Biden in order to pander to his pro-Hamas supporters. Biden also had frozen a shipment of 134 D9 bulldozers, a decision that cost the lives of numerous IDF soldiers, and refused Israel's urgent requests for Apache attack helicopters following Hamas' October 7 assault.
Also he lifted sanctions on the much hated by the left extremist settlers.
Very curious way to express a grudge indeed.
The grand irony is, the lefty "correct" way of ending conflict just doesn't work. Meanwhile "peace through superior firepower" does, eventually. They listen to islamist's crying about human rights, restrict allies, in turn the islamists realize that if they hold on long enough then western lefties will pressure Israel into backing down and giving them a good deal, while fighting with one hand tied and letting them have small victories through that.
Trump crushed all such hopes as he should, and suddenly Hamas wanted a deal just to survive, rather than being picky and wanting a victory.

Good. I am not opposed to displays of raw force so long as they terminate the fighting quicker. I'm far more of a pragmatist on this matter than you think. I'm in favor of whatever tactic means little kids stop getting turned into red bean baste over the quarrels of selfish adults, post-haste.

If you care about that, in this care it's really a choice between the kids and their parents.
Might want to read up about... religious-ideological education in Gaza, and to a degree also West Bank.
Until that ends, the conflict cannot end, as there will always be bodies willing to throw themselves at Israelis no matter the cost, be it with rockets, guns, a suicide vest, or failing that, at least a knife or car. And Israelis will have to defend themselves and respond. And so the conflict goes on. There are no good or bad solutions here, only drastic attempts to solve it here and now, and kicking the can of history down the road only as much as necessary, leaving just a thin bloody smear that goes on indefinitely.

Trump isn't a Zionist, he's just doing this to distance himself from Biden as much as possible. Also important to note that all of this is happening only AFTER Netanyahu and the Zionists agreed to the ceasefire since Trump pressured them like Biden outright refused to. Most if not all of his Anti-Israel measures were merely to get the left off his back, not because he was actually Anti-Israel. Biden and Netanyahu were friendlier than Trump and Netanyahu are, period. Trump's Israel support comes with strings attached - analysis

Pure copium in service of trying to get Trump to stand for the lefty anti-Israel cause.
And it's not something only he says.
He even lifted sanctions on the controversial even in pro-Israeli circles "far right settlers" that the left utterly despises.

Who's coping here? I never said there weren't zionists in his cabinet. Maybe you need to re-read what I posted. :p
