Israeli-Hamas War News & Updates

The problem with them is thsr they are like Da Oekz.

Even if you kill them all, more will show up later on, and if they all die it doesn't count as a defeat for them.

They can be defeated quite easily its just that what's necessary is frowned upon by the current world order. Also the US did dumb shit like trying to establish a "democracy" in Afganistan had they established a medieval feudal kingdom it would likely still be standing.

Yeah, very bad PR and most people do not want another oil embargo.
Or having to deal with more pissed off Muslims or Arabs.
Fracking/Deep sea and Alaska drilling could avert the problem, and so can technological improvements and NUCLEAR POWER!
But we can't do those, either, because of the 5th column and other green retards.

I agree.
Strongly.
Democracy is nothing to these people, tribal affiliations and religion are everything and having a theoretically pious hereditary sespot with the right bloodlines works better.

I think someone (?) said that the Taliban, on being defeated back in the 00's, expected the US to act like them: The US would set up the typical power structure with the Taliban as the gears and cogs and the conqueror (the US, in this case) basically being the head honcho in charge/whom they reported to, instead of their being the ones in charge from then on.

Basically, they'd go from being the boss to workers that'd report to the boss.

The US smashing everything and trying to build a democracy from the ground up baffled the fuck out of them and the people entirely, since their mindset is completely different to a Western view, and it's one of the reasons it all ultimately failed.

Wrong thread

Actually I'm working on a three hour long lore video essay on Shadow of Mordor and it's historical parallel to the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict. It's pretty clear that Free Stater here is thinking along parallel lines, though i'm intrigued by his inclusion of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in regards to the perpetual conflicts in Afghanistan and if his lack of ability to complete it is a chilling allegory to the quagmire foreign occupiers have faced in the so-called Graveyard of Empires. Would a Ganondorf have more success? I truly doubt it.

Playing Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild again because I never complete it and want to move on to Tears of The Kingdom and please don't spoil me on it.

I just finished replaying both Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War and all of their DLC's so there is that.
FuUUUCCCKKK!!!

..."Ahem"...

Thats what I get for having multiple tabs open at once.😬

Compilation of Interviews of Captured Hamas Militants Describing the Liberation Work they Undertook in Israeli Settlements during the October 7th Terrorist Attacks.

Fox News Report Trey Yingst interviewing an Israeli Rescue Worker about what he saw in the recaptured Israeli settlements.

Account of Captivity from one of the hostages, an 85 year old peace activist who aided Gaza in receiving supplies before the current conflict named Yocheved Lifshitz whose husband is still in captivity. She states that despite initially being beaten with sticks, they were treated well and the hostages are in good condition. Other elderly hostages were released, thanks to intervention by the International Red Cross which is seeking to find a way to free fifty or so hostages (foreign or dual citizens) in the coming days.

The Jerusalem Post released an article detailing some of the engagements the IDF's Caracal Battalion engaged in with the infiltrating/invading Hamas terrorists in Southern Israel. On October 7th the mixed gender IDF Battalion engaged infiltrating Hamas forces near the Israeli Base at Sufa.

Hamas militants had overrun parts of the base which was occupied by forty soldiers from mixed units including mortar operators, truck drivers and infantry returning from patrol. The Hamas militants were heavily armed including with anti-tank missiles and were in the process of receiving more reinforcements from Gaza. What followed was a four hour firefight to retake the base without destroying it.

Jerusalem Post said:
Approaching the base from all angles, they identified at least seven terrorists, and more from the nearby dirt embankment were starting to climb up. Suddenly, a convoy with almost 50 terrorists and snipers charged toward the squad of 12 at breakneck speed. They responded with gunfire. Terrorists were eliminated, and the others dispersed.

Lt.-Col. A from the Magic Touch Squadron (190) arrived and identified the terrorists inside the base. He suggested taking action but Ben-Yehuda insisted on avoiding harm to the soldiers inside. Instead, bursts of fire were directed at the surrounding earthen embankments, killing terrorists and preventing further attacks on the squad.

For nearly four hours, terrorists attempted to outflank Ben-Yehuda and her team, engaging them in firefights. More vans arrived, but the Caracal Battalion commander effectively thwarted them. Additional Light Anti-Armor Weapon (LAW) missiles were launched, further eliminating terrorists: Some were killed, and others retreated.

Over an estimated hundred Hamas militants were killed with more captured as the rest retreated.

Looks like Ground Operations are Intensifying, as is the bombardment.

The article is basically a collection of Social Media posts reporting on the details of the IDF disposition and the like.

Some of the recent developments reported:

- Intensification of the Israeli Air and Artillery Bombardment of the Gaza Strip (including use of tank fire according to a report by Trey Yingst) including strikes on Hamas' elaborate tunnel network.
- IAF reported some sort of engagement with a hostile target over the Red Sea.
- Iranian backed Houthi militias launched drones and missiles at various targets, with one interception reported by Saudi forces.
- Small amounts of international aid have entered Gaza, double digits worth of trucks apparently but also include medical personnel.
- Along with the reported armored incursions or thunder runs into Gazan territory, Israeli Special Forces launched a raid from the Sea on Gaza's Southern Coast.
- General internet and cell phone service interruption in the Gaza Strip. Some foreign SIM cards can still be used however, at least Israeli ones in one case (as per Trey Yingst).

Hamas really thought this was just going to be another round of the typical status quo.

Now they're begging entities like the UN to stop Israel because they've realized that Israel has finally taken the gloves off.

The Gaza Strip is going to be the Gaza Parking Lot very soon.

Israeli authorities showed members of the international media private footage of the Hamas Terrorist Attacks on October 7th, much of it taken from Hamas bodycams.

Some of the accounts journalists offered after the video briefing:
- Parents being executed in front of children.
- Tortured children begging to be killed while Hamas Militants loot homes.
- Throwing grenades into bomb shelters filled with parents and children.
- Hamas militants using phones of dead civilians to call and mock loved ones.
- Hamas militants mocking children they are hunting before murdering them.
- Israeli civilians and soldiers beheaded and bodies being desecrated.
- Pictures of small children burned beyond recognition.
- Pictures of blood stained baby corpses.

Hamas Spokesperson Ghazi Hamad who previously stated no civilians were killed, has stated again that Hamas doesn't target civilians and apparently found it difficult to justify the civilian losses.

The Bedouin Bus Driver Yussuf al-Ziadana who rescued around thirty young people under danger of being massacred or abducted by Hamas militants at the music festival, visited the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog.

Palestinian Human Rights Groups Report several hundred, maybe under 1500 Gazan Palestinians, have been arrested by Israeli authorities since the October 7th Terrorist Attacks. Local organizations have argued they have been subject to abuse by Israeli authoroties. In the wake of the Terrorist Attacks, 18,500 Palestinian Gazans who had permits to work in Israel had their work permits revoked and thus became illegal aliens if they were in Israel.

Hamas stated in Russian media that they consider all of the hostages they have taken to be Israeli, apparently regardless of citizenship status since many are dual citizens.
