I still don't really get the appeal of Pokemon. Or really any of the anime that seems to be most popular (Naruto, Baruto, etc.). I feel like the fandom was better off when the public perception of anime was that it was full of graphic sex and violence and needed to be kept away from the children, because to be frank it did.

That's fair; I never got the appeal of Ergo Proxy. Anime isn't a genre; it's a medium that has something for everyone, though as with all mediums it goes through phases where certain things become more popular and widely available than others.

Naruto is bog standard shounen: boy has friends, boy fights for/with friends, boy strives to improve self. Beats the heck out of watching TV full of rat-faced soycucks scripted by hateful leftist filth to be pathetic while the stronk wamen, reliable ethnics, and wise homosexuals carry the day.

I miss old anime fandom too, even stuff like Demon City Shinjuku, but it most certainly wasn't kept away from children. Though in fairness, movies like the original Excalibur and Once Upon a time in America were worse. Was Japanese degeneracy worse than what the creatures in Hollywood were squatting out? Not sure.

In the meantime, the appropriate way to deal with them is to either counter their arguments or laugh at them, either is fine. Civility violations will draw friendly warnings and requests to cool things down, but remember, unlike SB and SV here a 'friendly warning' is just that, nothing more, nothing less, than the bartender at the bar asking you to cool it.

Well they would be right about the last two if they ever did, but the vast majority of American Jews are intensely progressive and they make up a a very disproportionate amount of the leadership of the progressives. I mean seriously, Whoopi Goldberg just got destroyed for saying Jews were white and the Holocaust was white on white. That’s a powerful woman right there, and a progressive one, not even denying the impact of the Holocaust but basically just saying “Jews white” and she got slaughtered for it. But yes, American Jews are in fact the least oppressed and most privileged people basically in human history.
