I'm not hating DeSantis, to start out with this.
But Vivek Ramaswamy has a bunch of pretty good plans. First day in office, he pardons Trump, Assange, and Snowden.
He's really good about ESG, in that he's trying to attack it from the private sector by founding Strive Capital, which provides ETFs that you can invest in that aren't ESG controlled, which is a necessary counter point to DeSantis' public sector attack on ESGs.
He wants to fire half the federal workforce, revoke federal public sector unions (which you can do by executive order), 8 year term limits on federal positions, and closing and (maybe) remaking the Department of Education, FBI, and IRS.
This sounds great... it is basically exactly what I and every conservative friend I have say we would do "if I was the president"
but how do we know it isn't just empty promises?
As a true outsider, there is no track record to show he will walk the walk?
even if he has the will, does he have the ability? Because congress will fight him tooth and nail over this.
Desantis is far from perfect. But he is the most effective conservative in decades with an actual track record of success stories.
The seething of the degenerates as they say they are forced to boycott is state because of his "homophobic" laws like "no sexual shows involving children" his just hilarious.
So far we got pride parades cancelled, furry conventions cancelled, and stripper convention cancelled. All because they said they cannot comply with his law forbidden under 18 involvement.
The last one for example said they had plans to teach an under 10 year old class on pole dancing. And having said children perform pole dances. And that is now illegal thanks to desantis. So they were forced to boycott the state instead of just requiring participants to be over 18 and carding them. big win.
Anyways, Vivik certainly sounds, on paper, better than DeSantis and I would love it if he actually won and followed through on all those promises.
