The almost weeklong Russian Arms Expo is taking place at the moment. As President Putin himself proclaimed, they will be showcasing technology literally decades ahead of that of their Western competitors in fields ranging from robotics, to drones and even in the field of artificial intelligence and more! It's expected delegations from over seventy nations will be attending, and some of them will be debuting their own selectons of arms for export,
including the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Al Jazeera said:
The Kremlin leader, addressing an arms show outside Moscow, insisted Russian armaments were years ahead of the competition. “and is ready to offer partners and allies the most modern types of weapons – from small arms to armoured vehicles and artillery, combat aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles”, said Putin.
“Almost all of them have been used more than once in real combat operations,” he added.
He said Russia could offer new models and systems: “We are talking about high-precision weapons and robotics, about combat systems based on new physical principles. Many of them are years, or maybe decades ahead of their foreign counterparts, and in terms of tactical and technical characteristics they are significantly superior to them.”
President Putin says Moscow’s weaponry is years ahead of rivals as his troops continue to battle in Ukraine.

Some of the weapons include the Kh-69 air to surface missile which is still in development to be deployed from the highly advanced Su-57 Fighter, which is also still in development.
Also featured are Russian advances in Robotics, including this adorable ninja e-doggo armed with an RPG-26 and looking adorable with those little legs going up and down excitedly, wanting pats and treats.
The creators of this ATGL drone dog (known as the M-81 Robotic System or something) are
a financial lawyer, his wife whose an Instagram influencer with over 700K followers and the founder of a hoverbike company!
According to Russian sources, Russia has
exported $14 billion worth of arms in 2021 alone, with $22 billion in arms contracts signed in 2022 which means almost $60 billion in exports planned for the near future. Aircraft make up over half of the exports, as MiG-29's and Su-30 variants are decades ahead of their competition like French Rafales, Eurofighter Typhoons, Saab Gripens and especially American F-35's. Around 20% of the exports are in the field of air defense and 15% in ground equipment such as tanks, armored vehicles and small arms. One of the largest potential purchases announced is Myanmar's recently re-empowered Tatmadaw showing interest in purchasing Russian naval weapons for their frigates.
Also on display are the inferior 'war trophies' that Russia has obtained from its three day plus Special Military Operation in Russia which feature a rebuilt Bayraktar TB-2 Drone and a US Made and Russia destroyed (then reconstructed) M777 Howitzer.
Not seen however is the M142 HIMARS MLRS (much inferior to the BM-30 Smerch) that the Ukrainians apparently sold to the Russians.
The concept for a Stealth Arctic SSBN looks kinda cool though.
Nuclear weapons are Russia's ultimate insurance policy against NATO intervention in Ukraine. As their importance is emphasised, an ambitious new ballistic missile submarine has been revealed. The design, with hints of the latest Western thinking, represents the next generation after the Borei class.

And here's a Sprut-SDM1 Light Amphibious Tank. Perfect for operations against Snake Island like outposts. Or perhaps liberating Gotland? Aland? Or perhaps Taiwan... or Hokkaido or even Alaska?
