Steven Crowder takes a stand against Conservative networks

I think it was more that she was scheduled early the talking points she said were deployed

Well it's Candace Owens. I wouldn't expect incisive intellectual rigor from her. Not saying she's dumb or anything, I don't agree with the hot takes that a lot of people have that every politician and commentator is a 'tard like me or anything, I think most of them are pretty intelligent but Candace Owens is pretty low filter and makes a lot of hot takes without thinking it through too much.

But anyways, that aside... one interesting thing came from her appearance where she was acting like a rabid wolverine half the time (her normal mode) was how she apparently seemed to reinforce the rumor that Crowder's former producer and boy sidekick "Not Gay" Jared Munroe is under an NDA from Steven Crowder for some reason.

First he started teasing...

But finally he did comment on it though, stating he did resign and wasn't fired or terminated.

Quartering is so boring. He's even less interesting when he's not regurgitating a news article to make a video on before ending it talking about his dogs or something.

My favorite internet hot takes so far.

Oh gosh... I'm not sure what insults Jimmy Dore more... that the Young Turks brought up Jimmy Dore as a traitor, that they mentioned Jimmy Dore in the same breath as Dave Rubin or that they compared Jimmy Dore to Steven Crowder.

And here's some opinions from the CONTROLLED OPPOSITION Supporter SourPatchLyds, Producer of Timcast.

And look, I did find a random opinion from a Game person... it's that guy... from the thing... that produces the DeathBattles. I actually found this tweet more thoughtful and inciteful than even three hours of Shadiversity ramblings. Who knew iCarly could be so profound.

Seth Dillon of the Babylon Bee, the real Big Con responding.

And finally Lauren Chen sharing her experiences negotiating with both Daily Wire and Steven Crowder before wasting the last forty five minutes talking about how smart she is (which she is). Pretty interesting I guess.

Hitting the media limit so here are short videos that Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro released in response on Twitter.

Ugh.

The conclusion I'm generally coming to, is that I'm glad I mostly don't watch either DW or Louder with Crowder anymore. Just wasn't to my taste anymore, by and large.

This kind of drama isn't helping anyone.
I dunno, I think it does wonders for my emotional state and for the popcorn industry. FWIW, it seems ridiculous to me to claim on one hand that it's not about the money, and then on the other hand decry that there are (purely monetary) penalties for doing things that would mean less money bought in for the company. Certainly seems like it's all about the money. He could still make whatever content he likes. I don't see anything about termination or dismissal if he's cancelled. He'd just get paid less because he'd make his employer less money.

incorrect. that was a budget for the show not a salary. he would be responsible for the show. he would bear massive risks and penalties. it was set up to be a guarentee but still failed to be that. the contract was pretty shit.

I get the DW perspective where they are doing everything they can to be profitable and grow their business. unfortunately this means much of their shows are kinda safe outside their paywall. but I can understand why they do what they do.

Crowder is arguing that under such a contract and needing to abide by the rules of big tech sites he would never have been able to grow as he has and new talent wouldn't be able to do it either.

both have behaved in a pretty shitty manner to their supposed friends here though. and that bridge is unlikely to be repaired.

Probably because Crowder does it as well apparently.

Who exactly has Daily Wire hired that you would consider 'New Talent?' There's one person that apparently fits the bill that's been hired since... I dunno... years. She posted a half hour response video, but as this thread already established, DW defending themselves implies their guilt. :p

Emerging from the Korcari Wilds, a wild bearded Owen Benjamin appears!

Glad to know he's still alive (and maybe sober) lol.

Damn $5 million dollar Walther contract! Charging $90K a month sponsorships for those small Conservative companies. Muzzling and Blacklisting former employees under NDA's.

Who tf cares if any of it is true. This is beautiful entertainment.

I just saw the Quartering got a post removed and Brittany Venti was temporarily suspended from Twitter for sharing a story about some libertarian Sex Assault Advocate named Eliza Bleu. None of this is even related to Crowder backstabbing Daily Wire but maybe everyone is deciding to air out their laundry now.

It's spreading through Conservative New Media. Everyone grab popcorn!

Crowder is really helping #ExposeBigCon :sneaky:

Edit:

Jared Blink Twice if your under a NDA. 😟

The Babylon Bee is Willing to Broker a Cease Fire

Two married Men wrestling in Jell-O... wow... real Christian values there.

#StopTheBigCon

Honestly.
Would pay to see that.
I am sure Crowders fans would as well.

Well Crowder is Canadian. Him being a closet degenerate is almost taken for granted at this juncture.

No one gives af about Jeremy Boreing though. Plus he looks like he's sixty years old. Ben Shapiro and Michael Knowles are like literal twigs and could be broken like boys upon Bill Cosby's favorite treat. Leaves Matt Walsh and Andrew Klavan I guess. Physically Matt Walsh seems like the most imposing of the bunch but I don't think he has any martial background. Andrew Klavan meanwhile is like... legitimately old but something about him, I bet he's a dirty fighter.

Oh wait, DW still has Gina Carano under a film contract. Nevermind.

Steven did BJJ and now teaches it.
But yeah Carano would be the only viable option.
And I domt think anyone would complain about seeing her in Jell-O

Mikhaila Peterson whilst outing herself as a member of the "Controlled Opposition" and confirming that Daily Wire is lackeys for Big Tech and Suppressing New Up and Coming Conservatives by Defending Daily Wire, made an interesting (to me anyways) video on how they negotiated a contract with Daily Wire. She's also not an employee of Daily Wire FWIW.

Negotiations took place over five months apparently, with the last month of negotiations having things changed every day. Apparently Daily Wire would get money from Jordan Petersons podcast and in turn produce and market his podcast, and have control over his social media accounts in a manner "similar" to that of the Crowder Contract. But they also had to discuss Petersons books, his own tech endeavours, divvy up merchandise somehow, had discussions over whether Peterson's Podcast would be behind the DailyWire+ Paywall or not, and the ability to advertise their families' entrepreneurial endeavors and things that wouldn't fall under DW contract etc etc etc and a bunch of other things that made the contract negotiation fun and intense as she says.

Their deal ended up keeping Jordan Peterson's podcast on YouTube for free, left out his other projects, left out his books, touring, gave him freedom to pursue new projects in the future and in exchange for many millions (it's not about the money of course) DW gave him access to their production team, advertising budget, built in audience on DailyWire+ and more. This apparently had immediate benefit because for example the Daily Wire would actually expend money to fly Jordan Peterson to guests or fly a production team to film said guests so he wouldn't have to rely on Zoom podcasts as much, a film crew will follow him to his cottage, or the studio etc to film and even had a crew follow him around when he was on tour internationally to Europe and Asia.

They also made dedicated teams available to record (she says Hollywood/Netflix level production) Documentaries on whatever topics he wanted, so he made one on the Bible Museum, and two more in the works, took over filming for his tour so that his lectures could be filmed professionally instead of on a lower budget negotiating with each and every venue and furthermore will get all of the lecture tour footage back when the deal has ended despite said tour being hosted on DailyWire+. They spent a million dollars helping him produce a roundtable discussion that apparently took two weeks to setup that was his idea. They replaced the one person they had previously dealing with social media with an entire social media team. They have access to an advertising budget in the millions. She says she's actually not sure how Daily Wire is recouping the costs of his Dad's contract in general.

She characterized the entire experiene as something called a "Business Negotiation."

Oh she also talked about Jordan Peterson tweeting out Crowder's video before deleting it.

Owens said tht they had been trying with Steven since October or November.

But Steven tried to negotiate. He said raise the price and start over with a new contract.

It is that the DW basically made it so only money he can make is FROM them. No other means of money from his fans. All his fans give thier money to DW.

I'm with Crowder on this one. I can respect DW for trying, but the big issues are still there. The 5 ads per show. The fact if he gets demonetized on youtube or other locations.

Crowder has already circumvented that with MugClub and other things. DW trying to say that they "Want to make money off this for the tens of millions we spend" is absolutely disingenuous IMO. The fact that they cater so much to Youtube and other spaces, spaces that already demonetize and have issues with Conservative media? Something is definitely wrong there.

Do I think this is some opsec by DW to 'get at' conservative spaces? No. I think it's just greed. Crowder went at it like DW did this to destroy conservative opposition, but it's far easier to attribute to greed than malice. DW wants that Youtube revenue. It wants Facebook money. It wants all the ad sponsors.

I do agree with Crowder about how stupid it is. Putting yourself into lockstep with youtube demonetization policy? A policy that changes and is enforced at a whim? Yeah I would be offended about that too. I would probably call DW traitors ect ect. I just also can see it's just greed. They want to become the new Fox network basically. but DW has to cater to the money in that case. Stupid.

It's all a shame. I liked some of the DW stuff, even if I don't watch any of their personalities or anything.

Of course, treason out of greed is not really more noble than treason of belief. Probably worse. To Godwin, a German who betrays the Nazis because he disagrees with the Nazis is a bit nobler than someone who betrays the Nazis because the Soviet's will pay more.

If treason is what's going on here. That's the big question though: is this treason? How cheap or expensive the bribe for treason is is secondary. Price really does not matter to the core question of all this.

I didn't have subscription to either side before this, but I can safely say that after all that has come out I won't be giving DW a dime, while Crowder's network and the Quartering looks far more worthwhile and trustworthy.

Seeing Crowder was smart enough to record the convos and take some pages from Project Veritas on receipts, makes me trust him more, because it means he knows the sort of bullshit establishment or old-right 'friends' might try to pull when it comes to business dealings, while saying something else to the public.

Did you even read that really long post I made about a nine minute video that specifically talked about contract negotiations with DW?

No Steven didn't try to negotiate. He asked for an offer.

Then he refused it. Asked for another new offer, ie telling DailyWire to negotiate with itself, which you know, is totally professional and in good faith.

Then he sat on it for four months, then spent the last month plotting how to trap and embarrass his so-called friends so he and the fat oompah loompah Quartering can launch their own service which will totally be the savior of the Conservative movement because Crowder has never had any controversy over his employment or business practices.

Daily Wire doesn't carry Rings of Power so you'll be fine.

Imagine calling up someone and talking about your families Christmases, troubles buying baby formula and than bringing those contract negotiations that fell apart four months ago, recording it all and than having people state "Oh it's like Project Veritas/Just recording business phone calls."

Imagine if Daily Wire tried to pull something like... releasing a video filled with half truths about contract negotiations out of the blue. Good thing Crowder recorded that phone call. Good thing he reserved #StopTheBigCon domain address a month ago. Good thing he got the fat, bearded newsreader version of YongYea to tread water for him on social media so he wouldn't have to. What an impressive amount of coincidences.
