People were laughing at that film, especially with the chicks who literally suicide-jumped over the wall with bungee ropes to do a few ineffectual strikes.

It was literally like an assembly line. "One, gore-coated ring. Discard. Next victim!"

Just... fucking why? :ROFLMAO:

I think it was an allegory for how China disposes of their failed Olympic athletes. Years and years of training to become the finest troops in all of Eurasia to build up for this one moment that happens only once in a lifetime and you fail utterly and ignominiously within a span of seconds, contributing almost absolutely nothing to China's eventual victory.

Wait, you don't really believe in Romans do you? Beliving Rome ever existed is racist.

I like her logic.Catholic church faked roman writing,so Mussolini 700 years later could create fascist empire.
I now, that we papist are terrible, but i never ever suspected that!

Pretty sure some people have claimed the Romans merely built the Temple of Jupiter atop a stone foundation laid by giants, or aliens, or what have you.

Still better, that what van Daniken did with Haghia Sophia - according to him, they made it after seeing UFO.

Oh my God, this bitch. I remember channels like the Metatron having a fit over it, but I've somewhat recognised what her ilk are doing (even if it may be subconscious). They hate the West and want to pull it down. What better way of doing that then knocking out the keystone that is Rome?

It's essentially the same ploy as travelling back in time to kill someone's parents before they're even born. o_O

Didn't think they could do a shittier terminator film than Dark Fate, but as ever the left always surprises me.

Further to the topic, they certainly attempted it and it went hilariously wrong. Because denying the enormity of the Roman Empire's existence was "what the fuck" territory even for progressive historians.

It tickles me to know that even in death the might of Rome prevails over these simpering little activists. Try as they might, Roma Aeterna will remain a promise as much as a statement of fact.

Some turboslaws tried that, too.I remember theory, that Rome&Greece never existed, and entire History, including Illiad, happened on russian lands much later.
Unfortunatelly,forget which genius created it.

Anatoly Fomenko and his "new chronology". NOW WITH EXTRA MUD-FLOODS. :ROFLMAO:
Thanks. It is nice to knew, that there is people more stupid then polish neopogans.Who claim, that powerpuff Lechia Empire beaten Alexander the Great,Ceazar/taking those defeats from catholic bishop Kadłubek History/ and, that Empire was destroyed spmehow by bad catholics who removed all remains of it.In Asia, too.
But still catholic bishop wrote about such victories....

So do these shows ever explain why the Aliens decided to make these amazingly advanced and engineered constructions we can't mimic today with such mathematical precision out of stone bricks and giant rocks?

Like was Stargate completely off base and the Ha'taks should be made of some sort of vacuum sealed limestone and plasma baked mud bricks when sailing through space, crushing puny highly advanced civilizations from orbit?

We should be having trinium alloy based pyramids and megaliths erected made of solid GUNDARIUM.

Basically, you know how when Mom 'n Dad want to relax on the beach they give the kids a bucket and shovel and tell them to go build a sandcastle? That, except the kids are playing with blocks of stone instead of just sand.

Except that a lot of oil experts believe that oil is a replenishable resource...as in it's actively being produced by the earth.

There have been many oil wells that have run dry...that have mysteriously become full again when the drillers tap them again decades later. Anecdotal, but there are now studies looking into what mechanism/s may cause this.

The abiotic origin of Oil I am agnostic on, but coal isn't and was the starter method into our industrialization; it stands to reason it probably would be for an earlier civilization and such would leave signs.

Earlier civilizations used something entirely different that was both easier and more efficient. We don't know what it is because they used it all up and it caused their civilization to collapse. This is a warning for us and why we all need to donate lots of money to the Green party to explore alternative energy sources.

It's very possible that something like this happened. Or they used an energy source that we just don't understand, that was lost with time, as the Younger Dryas period destroyed their civilization.

I'm still up in the air if there was a previous advanced civilization. There could have been. It's fun to think about. That's why I enjoyed this show. That doesn't mean that I 100% believe there was. I just think it's possible, and is fascinating to think about.

I think there's a possibility of a sophisticated culture that existed over twelve thousand years ago. But I wouldn't think, if they did, they'd hit their industrial revolution before being destroyed. There'd probably be archaeological evidence of extensive mining otherwise, or even residue carbon in the atmosphere.
