There's still what, 32 states left? 5/38 Polls show the man leading in Washington, Oregon, NY, state, New Jersey and the greater the Rust belt/Midwest area. It ain't over till the fate lady sings as far as Bernie Bros are concerned. If young Dem voters stop shitposting and improve their turnout numbers, he can pull those states to match Biden's hold in the South.

In retrospect, Sanders lost to Biden the moment the latter announced he was running; the Democrat establishment wouldn't have had it any other way. If it had been a fair competition, things might have turned out differently; but considering what happened last election, and all that we've seen happen this time around, that was never in the cards, now was it?

He had a heart attack in late-2019 that required stents and some care, so while there's not any (known) ongoing problems...that alone is a bit of a flag for the potential to happen again (I am not a doctor, this is my rough understanding of biology and basic inkling), though a doctor has come out and said he's fine to act as President*.
On one hand, Bernie probably has roughly average heart-health for his age. On the other, average heart health for late-70s isn't great (nor is it for Trump's 73 either). On the other, other hand, President is going to have some high-flying medical care...On fourth, freakish mutant hand, President has a LOT of stress that makes heart conditions bigger problems.
*Similar to when Trump had this, how much to trust the doctor on this matter is somewhat arguable.

I keep coming back to this unfolding divine judgment on the Dems out of a mixture of awe and fear. It’s like out of some Greek fable where the protagonist is doomed by the very thing he wants. Only this time Midas’ touch turns everything to shit instead of gold.
Think about it: since 2015 we’ve had an army of politically-compromised shrinks concern-trolling that Trump was demented or senile, and media even picked up the line how it was plausible for the 25th Amendment to be invoked because CLEARLY Orange Bad Man is OBVIOUSLY mentally impaired, etc. But now, after all the Sturm und Drang of fiercely brave Personx of Colour, these bravely fierce warrior goddesses, the only champion The Resistance can come up with is... an actually severely demented old white guy.
At first I was disappointed because I was looking forward to convention chaos this summer, but now I see how utterly, divinely perfect this is. It's the culmination of clownworld, the logical endpoint of Progress: of course the party of puberty blockers and abortions-of-convenience intends to nominate a man who's non compos mentis for President of the United States. Of course they do, what other course of action would make sense?
I can already see how this plays out: Trump makes cracks about Biden's mental condition, and the media responds with "FACT CHECK: Biden only has EARLY-stage dementia" or "What kind of monster makes fun of a man's dementia?!" Meanwhile, millions of normies begin to wonder what kind of cruel sociopaths would put a senile elder like Biden in this position, and toward what end. This might really be the final crackup of the Democratic Party.
I don’t know how anyone can not get a shudder of divine fear seeing this come to pass. The Dems are cursed, snake-bitten, jinxed— there is nowhere where they’ll find shelter and their wounds will not heal. Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.
