Doughboy is getting desperate for another majority, even when we’re pissed off at him for all the political corruption.
Shh, don't think for yourself, and don't ask questions that blow holes in the virus/vax narrative the powers that be want.Uhhh... Aren't eh UNvaccinated people the ones at risk in that scenario? Does the vaccine suddenly not work if some people don't take it? Isn't the point of the vaccine supposed to be to protect the person who has it from exposure to the disease the vaccine is for?

Be interesting if he actually replied to that.
The brother of Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau was arrested on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor and possession of child pornography, among other charges.
Alexandre Trudeau was booked into jail on Tuesday, Montreal police (SPMV) said in a statement shared with The Beaver. He is facing charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, “among other charges including possession of child pornography and small quantity of crystal meth.”
The department said it received a report earlier this year of an incident that allegedly occurred in 2019. Detectives interviewed a juvenile victim and witnesses, and developed probable cause to arrest Trudeau.
Trudeau has been charged with seven indictable offences related to sexual misconduct with a minor, attempted sexual conduct with a minor, molestation, possession of child pornography, and possession of a controlled substance local independent news reported earlier. He was released on $50,000 bail.
“In light of this shocking revelation, Justin Trudeau has some explaining to do,” Pierre Poilievre told The Beaver.
“These are incredibly disturbing allegations. Trudeau should comment immediately.”
Darth, you have this bad habit of just posting screenshots without links to the original source.
Well, shit.Darth, you have this bad habit of just posting screenshots without links to the original source.
You got any other sources, or you know, things with links instead of just screenshoots of just this one site?
Because I went through the Twitter feeds, through to that article on that site, and to the links in the article. Nothing but the first page says anything about Trudeau's brother being arrested, nothing in the links goes to another source that actually says that it happened, and there are no other places I'm seeing anything like this.
And the PM of Canada's brother being arrested for this sort of thing would make the news cycle, even if people just wanted to try and deflect from it.
Post links, not 'link's to screenshots'.Well, shit.
Also I'll try to post actual links to screenshots more often. My bad there.
Gah, I meant to write 'articles'. Sorry.Post links, not 'link's to screenshots'.
You post screenshots of stuff that is hard to verify, a lot; if you are going to put anything in a post of this sort, do the link, not the screenshot
I've always wondered what the difference between Canadian parties are. The Conservative/PPC split is fairly obvious but what's the difference between the NDP, the Liberals, and the Greens? And outside of Quebec issues where does the Bloc stand?Polls should always be taken with a healthy mountain of salt, and election day is still four weeks away - but popular sentiment is blowing strongly against Trudeau and friends, much more strongly than he (and I, frankly) expected it seems. The Liberals' campaigning has been pretty unfocused and quiet, the public's anger that he called an election now and blatantly for no reason but to increase his power is very real, and the Tories are polling as many as 6-8 points ahead right now. That the election season is so much shorter also leaves less time for the Grits to alter the flow of the race.
The Conservatives are running close to the center and O'Toole has spent a good bit of his time as party leader alienating the actual right in this country, so I doubt he'll be a significant improvement over Trudeau - wouldn't even be appropriate to class them as RINOs in the American system IMO, he and the Red Tory crowd are basically Manchin/Sinema types on a good day. However, it would be difficult to do worse than the crown prince of woke neoliberal globalism. I might well have to pinch my nose and strategically vote for the Tory candidate in my riding just to help get Trudeau out - especially if they can maintain this momentum toward the finish line.
The PPC are also doing pretty well - they're actually polling above the Greens, who do have seats in Parliament. But they have no hope of winning my particular riding unfortunately, and I think they'd be best served laser-focusing on a few more winnable seats to get Bernier back into office with one or two others, then building on that foot-in-the-door presence for the future.
To summarize what I've been able to see since I started paying attention to politics in 2011...I've always wondered what the difference between Canadian parties are. The Conservative/PPC split is fairly obvious but what's the difference between the NDP, the Liberals, and the Greens? And outside of Quebec issues where does the Bloc stand?
