Just about the only standout difference compared to 2019 is that Bernier, while still losing his seat, has managed to jump the PPC's numbers from 1% of the vote to 5% this time. Assuming the debates commission is so kind as to not change their requirements to lock him out at the behest of their superiors in gov't, this does mean he'll at least manage to get in to the next election's debate.
This is actually a very good showing on the PPC's part, given that they are such a young party. I think they have what it takes to be a force in Canadian politics and even if they don't taste power they are useful boot up the Tories's arse.
