There is a diffrence between the two.
Canada is a very close ally of ours.
Ukraine and the various Eastern European countries are not close allies of Russia

What does that matter? If your ally wants to let your rival put a military base in their nation, or to stop being your ally they should be allowed too shouldn't they?

We never put a military base in Ukraine, and Canada is a country that is literally tied to the US Defense plan woth NORAD.
Allowing Chinese troops in Canada is basically saying they want to cut ties.
Which benefits the US more then it does Canada.
Because they are now stuck between the US and Denmark with what would now be thoer closest ally, a sea away amd would leave them out to dry.

And you can't really compare Ukraine to canada... because Ukraine has a lot stronger roots to being there and it's land then China does woth anything outside of China

I don't think you understand being a NATO nation means our troops would be there, there are join exercises and troops stationed in friendly nations all the time. And Russia has a longer history of Ukraine being considered "theirs"

Also what are you smoking when you say that Canada joining China would be good for us? What no that would be a disaster the US homeland is safe because we don't have strong nations on our hemisphere close to us. There is a reason we were not happy with nukes and Soviet soldiers being put in Cuba.
