United States Trump v Biden 2, electric boogaloo

From his own comments he believed a VP did not have the power to nullify and was not going to do it, but he said nothing in public and kept making vague statements about it that made it sound like he would, teasing people until he capitulated and helping making Jan 6th more chaotic.
As I recall the media and leftists were claiming it was nonsense and pence couldn't do anything...

...only for later having the dem controlled house change the rules so the vp couldn't do anything anymore so they were full of crap before.

I might be getting some details wrong. This was a while ago.

correct. if you ask them though they will say it was illegal and they just did it to make it double super extra illegal since clearly they needed to in response to evil bad orange hitler.

And then when they want to do it well...it's super double bad because the rules say they cannot. Looks like they closed a loophole they could have used.

No the loophole they closed was honest elections.

Remember, the voters and votes don't matter. The people counting the votes do. And there is all kinds of evidence they played games the last two elections.

Yeah and if they keep doing that a civil war will happen. Voting in itself is a pressure release valve that prevents things from turning violent.

Democratic Representative from Minnesota named Dean Phillips, a political moderate, decided to "step down" from a Congressional Leadership position because he's been criticizing Biden for running for re-election for months due to his age and infirmity and he should step aside so a new generation of leaders can run.

Because of those honest and accurate criticisms, he's clearly unfit for leadership in the Democratic Congress.

Six Months since a post here?!

I'll need an important news story to bump this thread back up...

I'll be honest while I doubt it swayed many people I was induced to some mild eye rolling out of dismay when I saw a YouTube ad back in 2020 or whatever showing the Rock in a zoom call with Biden and Harris and saying how he never endorsed a candidate until that election.

Glad to see he has returned to his roots of just shutting up about particular elections. Be a role model for more of his fellow celebrities.

So, the Rock refuses to repeat his endorsement.

Taylor Swift may or may-not be an active psy-op of some kind for the military, so her endorsement of Biden hangs on the Military Industrial complex's decision.

Who else would be fun to see for a '24 endorsement? Alec Baldwin, maybe? He could take a shot at it.
Maybe he'd prefer to keep his powder dry at this point too...
