With Russian forces withdrawing from Georgia, along with their displays of general incompetence the likelihood of South Ossetia/Abkhazia 2.0 is rising. If Belarus either joins the war in Ukraine or ousts Lukashenko that adds them to the list of mayhem.

All we need then is for the 'Stans to find something to kick off about and we'll have the full Soviet civil war the CIA predicted back in the 70s. It'll be 22 years late, but it was a timetable from a government body.
“Here’s how the George Floyd BLM riots could escalate into a CIVIL WAR, guys!”

As of currently it looks like the very preliminary estimates of casualties were high. Still at least one person was killed and over thirty wounded being reported at the moment. Age group ranged from 20 to 42 years old.

Rampant speculation ranges from acts of terrorism such as fomented by Iran, Armenian retaliation or as some Azeri authorities seem to be stating... an accidental propane gas explosion.

IRGC issued a second warning in three weeks directed towards Turkey and Azerbaijan apparently threatening retaliation if those countries threaten Armenia's borders.

Iran - only defender of Christians in Caucasus and Middle East. Now i undarstandt, why protestants hate them so much.

More like their puppetters in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem with the AIPAC propaganda machine and similars. There is actually a good book written by a Jewish American and collegue about Israeli propaganda.

Most tensions and skirmishing along the disputed Azerbaijan-Armenian Border this last Weekend.

Jerusalem Post said:
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry claimed that on Friday evening Armenian armed forces fired on Azerbaijani forces in the Kalbajar District, adding that Azerbaijani forces took "adequate retaliatory measures."

The Armenian Defense Ministry denied the claims, calling it misinformation.

On Saturday, the Armenian Defense Ministry claimed that Azerbaijani forces fired on Armenian forces near the border, injuring an Armenian soldier. The Armenian forces carried out "retaliatory actions."

Renewed Peace Talks Between the Two Countries has been taking place since April. The Russian MoD which still has peacekeepers in the region has blamed Azerbaijan for previous hostilities that occurred as of late as well.

Seems preliminary at the moment. Situation is still developing and people waiting/searching for details.

Depending on who you follow I guess...

Definitely movements towards the Border reportedly.

One thing you should keep in mind about the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War is that most of the territory Azerbaijan took belonged to the surrounding districts that were almost entirely Azerbaijani and Kurdish before the First Nagorno-Karabakh War and whose occupation was illegal undee international law.

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
So, Russia is facing problems now not just internally and in Ukraine, but also Chechnya and perhaps Nagorono-Karabakh. Anyone sensing a chain reaction here?
I see it as momentum being switched somewhere else to keep the effort on fucking with Russia.

Looks like things have calmed down, at least for the past few hours or so. But there was a cease fire violation by the Azeri forces apparently.

No, mostly because most of that isn't true.

Specific to this situation though, it remains to be seen; Azerbaijan has been falling into the orbit of Turkey-Israel for sometime, and it's likely the meeting between Putin and Erdogan had this situation as an "off the books" deal. Wouldn't surprise me if Putin cut a deal to sell Artsahk out in exchange for concessions elsewhere. Turkey can do a lot for Russia, after all, given the NATO expansion talks, efforts to resupply Ukraine, etc.
