big scandal. at most an impeachment with maybe legal consequences if wrongdoing gets put on Hobbs directly. doesn't mean Lake gets put in power. the best outcome is the ability to force legislation through to strengthen election security as it would be political suicide for the dems to say "yeah we did it. so what?" so they would be forced to back it to a certain level at least to maintain their image to moderates.
You do realize that if Hobbs is impeached & removed from office (she'll never get removed), AZ Secretary of State Adrian Fontes (D) will be the new Governor to serve out the remainder of her term & seek a full 4-year term in 2026 in a hypothetical scenario.

ok then. it still would be a win as it forces the strengthening of election security and forces the dems to be less blatant about their "fortification". it would still be holding someone accountable IF it can be tied directly to her. taking a scalp and putting some fear in them is still a win even if the GOP won't get the seat.

I would mostly just be hopeful for if the court battle works out then we got a reason to push election security. Hobbs getting any blowback would be a miracle as it would take her being very stupid to get caught like that. not impossible mind. but the question was for a best case.

1/3rd the vote in so far so very preliminary. for the Kentucky primary.

Cameron is leading at 45%, Quarles at 21%, Craft at 16%. not over yet but it looks to be the trump bump is beating the Desantis endorsement when backed by the mega donors.

If the consequence is that the whole election is made null and void...?

Would one of those be that all laws signed by Hobbs would be vacated? Especially since that election nullification would unseat the legislative parties as well?

Mind you....that's a 1 in a bazillion chance...

(Follow the white rabbit down the hole.)

no. that would be too much. if she gets found having committed malfeasance maybe the republicans would be able to make an example of her. using the win to push for legislation to prevent a repeat since the dems won't be able to say it never happens? sure. rolling back a year of legislation and invalidating every election potentially affected? not happening.

The thing is, the ones most responsible would be the officials in Maracopa County, and arguably the Democratic Party as a whole given how everyone has acted throughout all this. She hardly acted alone.

Match-up for the KY Governor's Mansion officially set between incumbent KY Governor Andy Beshear (D) vs KY State Attorney General Daniel Cameron (R).

Who wins & will it be by double digits ?
A.) Beshear
B.) Cameron

If Cameron can get the Trump vote out he can win. unfortunately there is a significant portion of the Trump vote that doesn't show up unless he is on the ballot as they have been burned by both parties before. This is going to be decided by voter enthusiasm.

Considering Beshear is quite popular among Kentuckians with 62% approval rating.

2023 Gubernatorial Elections: MS, KY & LA (Predictions)
Here's my predictions for the Governorships in MS, KY & LA:

*MS: GOP HOLD: Reeves will hold on here despite some chaotic moves during his tenure. Pressley is the most high-profile contender for the MS Dems because they last won the Governorship in 1999.

*KY: Likely DEM HOLD: I am doubling-down on Beshear winning reelection against KY State Attorney General Daniel Cameron (R); voter enthusiasm & Independents will decide this.

*LA (OPEN): GOP GAIN: LA State Attorney General Jeff Landry (R) is the overwhelming front-runner & favorite.
