Delayed as far as anyone knows. I suspect it wont be out any earlier than Q1 2024.Any word on Legiones Imperalis?
Yeah, these ones, Arch had a video on em a while back. You mean the Emprah's Greenest regiment?
As if 1 wasn't enough, now you want the 2 we have to suffer through to join forces.I wonder when the Lion and Girlman will meet face to face
I mean, the books involving guilliman, like the Dark Imperiumnseries is pretty good actually and shows a more human take and that he isn't perfect. As if 1 wasn't enough, now you want the 2 we have to suffer through to join forces.
Anything post Failbadon's 13th temper tantrum is meh by default.I mean, the books involving guilliman, like the Dark Imperiumnseries is pretty good actually and shows a more human take and that he isn't perfect.
Primaris marines I can understand the hate

The Primaris Marines should not exist. Cawl creating a new Mark X power armour would be fine, alongside Guilliman loosening the laws on geneseed and Chapter sizes, but GW just jumped the shark with them.
Have you actually read any of the stuff taking place after the fall of cadia?Anything post Failbadon's 13th temper tantrum is meh by default.
I mean, basically what GW did was make the universe,.move along instead of just being in a constant stalemate. They actually wanted to focus on developing the world instead if stagnating it.Guilliman is kind of cool because like, the IoM as it stands is clearly not quite what the Emperor intended... and getting the perspective of someone who saw it when it something closer is interesting.
Primaris Marines feel... unnecessary? But at the same time it makes Space Marine stuff a bit more flexible lore-wise.
Idk, primaris is basically that. The Primaris Marines should not exist. Cawl creating a new Mark X power armour would be fine, alongside Guilliman loosening the laws on geneseed and Chapter sizes, but GW just jumped the shark with them.
The thing is that it wasn't "stagnant" because they were constantly painting in the massive holes in the timeline, adjusting details, inserting whole new factions, overhauling old ones, and so on. It was a setting functioning as a big fuzzy canvas for Your Dudes, with the secret of the Lost Primarchs being expressly "so you can make shit up". There's a reason such a big deal was made of The End Times and The Gathering Storm: No small part of the fanbase was younger than the last time GW tried to push the Warhammer timelines forward.I mean, basically what GW did was make the universe,.move along instead of just being in a constant stalemate. Some Belisarius Cawl related stuff, pretty much apocryphal to the setting IMHO and the whole Cycatrix Maladictum is silly.Have you actually read any of the stuff taking place after the fall of cadia?
I mean, it really doesn't.Some Belisarius Cawl related stuff, pretty much apocryphal to the setting IMHO and the whole Cycatrix Maladictum is silly.
Arch covered the stupendous and childish power/size creep a while back.Sums up my view nicely.
I mean, yes and no.The thing is that it wasn't "stagnant" because they were constantly painting in the massive holes in the timeline, adjusting details, inserting whole new factions, overhauling old ones, and so on. Not even joking, between the original Eye of Terror campaign and The Gathering Storm was nineteen years. There were people not born when the first attempt at the 13th Black Crusade happened who had graduated from secondary education and making a living since then. But in between, most of what we recognize the setting for today was introduced. The Genestealers became associated with the Tyrannids, the Necrons went from the fresh proper noun for what was originally Chaos Androids to killbots to Tomb Kings In Space, the Tau went from the much-maligned bright spot to just the least totalitarian dicks available.
The setting shifted and grew and changed over time, but in well-defined boundaries.
Except not really. The whole point of 40K is that the Imperium has ALWAYS been teetering on the brink. What the return of Guilliman did is allow for the Imerpium to get that much needed boost as they were basically on the verge of ruin before the 13th succeeded.
