Harris has made a career out of being a political opportunist, I don't think she is going to appeal to the undecided African American voter or inspire the apathetic one to get out and vote in any large numbers. And I'd make a note that she's only technically 'African American' in any case, her dad is a professor who immigrated from Jamaica in the sixties (who seems pretty based Kamala Harris' dad says parents are 'turning in their grave' over her comments on weed and being Jamaican: report )and her mum is Indian (as in Asia, India)😄 they're all Americans now of course but still if you're going to just tick a box saying 'black' they couldn't find an actual African American one?
Anyway hiding evidence that could free a convicted man on death row (not sure about the case, he could have been a scumbag) it doesn't sound good. Keeping prisoners in prison beyond their sentences for slave labour and sending potheads to gaol when she herself laughed about smoking pot. Those aren't really 'justice' and being 'tough' on crime. In fact they're miscarriages of justice and being hypocritical or worse, corrupt. And these aren't GOP talking points, these are just the ones raised by the Dems themselves during their primary. They (personally at least) left out the part with her possibly sleeping her way to promotion but that information is out there in the ether.
The mainstream media will run defence and offense for her just like they have with Biden but after the DNC convention and a couple weeks I think most people are going to see it for what it is as putting lipstick on a pig.
President Trump was right, she didn't even make it to the Dem primaries and got around 2% support.

This is another reason why the claim that Biden‘s administration would walk back support for Israel (which is why they supposedly feel the need to strike hard at Iranian assets) is dubious or just cope.

my opinion, if we are going to be the world's mercenary force, we need to be paid through the nose as such (and when I say We I mean the country and it's people not politicians who make back door deals). Ideally I'd Like us to not get involved in any alliance based wars period, Heck I'd argue let the Japanese bring back the samurai and have an unrestricted army, but if we are going to get caught in feuds we need to be well WELL compensated for our troubles. Cash or other.

Given the BLM riots going on and how Trump is trying to make Biden look like he's condoning BLM riots *, maybe this move of getting VP candidate who was a firm law and order prosecutor is meant to combat that angle of attack.

Expect one could argue that the actions of people like Kamala Harris were exactly the sort of thing that inspired the BLM riots, and justifies their desire to completely dismantle our justice system. I mean forcing people to remain in jail past their sentence so she could use them for cheap labor (essentially treating them like slaves), blocking evidence that could exonerate someone on death row, and supporting laws that disproportionately affect poor people accused of crimes? She's the perfect example of how the system can completely fail to function as intended.

I am quite sure that unless the pick was some radical left's perfect pure poster boy/girl, the radical left with their stringent putiryt tests would find anyone not their preferred candidate somehow morally compromised and find something to justify voting Green. Yep. Harris may have been the right move for Biden if they play it off right.

Lets be honest if the democrats win they will have no choice but to purge the radical left, maybe with literal fire because they will go after them too.
