It's funny, I expected her to be the Democratic presidential nominee back when this all started and it looks like I was correct.
How badly do the democrats need the black vote? because a whole lot of the people in the African American community hate her guts.

If they want to win any southern states? Badly. The Dems have been min-maxing their electoral map for a few decades now and with Orange Man stealing white Union voters they've lost most of the buffer they had. It's swell that a 100 million people vote for you, but when they're all crammed into six states then the other guy can win with 80 million votes spread across 40 states.
I'd need to hunt down the study, but if Trump steals less then 20% of the black vote, that's game over for any Democratic candidate. They're all but completely reliant on the ethnic pig pens now and if minority groups start voting the same way whites do (i.e. not as an ethnic block) the Democrats will federally be out of power for a generation.
Or more likely one election cycle because this stuff moves fast now.

If the Dems ever lose something like 20% of the hlack vote. It becomes matymatically impossible for them to win federal elections. They'd be utterly screwed basically
