Why did we not have this guy sooner! My brothers and sisters in arms should come home and not have to worry about dying in a war they should have been out of years ago.
Your fellow military need a break. Bin Laden's dead, Al Qaeda has been decimated, the Taliban has a good reminder not to host another terrorist looking to start another 9/11 and ISIS was annihilated. Why did we not have this guy sooner! My brothers and sisters in arms should come home and not have to worry about dying in a war they should have been out of years ago.
Because the mainline in both parties want forever war?Why did we not have this guy sooner! My brothers and sisters in arms should come home and not have to worry about dying in a war they should have been out of years ago.
And I want them to see what we are doing on the front linesBecause the mainline in both parties want forever war?
They don't really care as long as it helps them get their graft. And I want them to see what we are doing on the front lines
Crap
This is the song that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friendsRemind me again how long was the first one supposed to last?

Officers that are junior like LTs and the like do see combat, and if they were infantry (Like the renowned Mattis was) would generally know what it is like. Mattis is a reason a lot of military thought Trump was not good at least when he fired Mattis. He gained their trust for giving us a pay raiseI wonder if the one's lying to Trump about our troops would enjoy being in the troops' place for six months. Not as officers, not as observers but actually doing the grunt work for that time?

People praise Mattis as this great and glorious leader of the military. His reputation is more popular then he isfrom what I understandSo the military really did think that was a mistake? it wasin't just democrats and rino loyalist complaining?

I do not think a lot of people know Mattis is the reason we have stayed in the middle eastso to quote the cliche his reputation proceeded him.
If Trump went for the other solution to the middle east conundrum, imperialism, he would have been a good pick. But Trump decided that it wouldn't be a good investment and decided to pull out instead. Mattis ended up being like a shoe that doesn't fit: it doesn't matter if it is made to the highest quality, it will still give you blisters.Officers that are junior like LTs and the like do see combat, and if they were infantry (Like the renowned Mattis was) would generally know what it is like. Mattis is an overrated general who people think because he is renowned he is perfect and he has a good reason to keep us in the middle eastIf Trump went for the other solution to the middle east conundrum, imperialism, he would have been a good pick. It is sunk cost fallacy, if you admit we were wrong it means all those people died for nothing.Mattis is an overrated general who people think because he is renowned he is perfect and he has a good reason to keep us in the middle east
He would lose all backing if he did that because he would have been known for willingly sending troops that have died for nothing. It is sunk cost fallacy, if you admit we were wrong it means all those people died for nothing.
