It's a matter of what lessons one thinks the past has; personally, I'm skeptical about this whole "women cause the downfall of civilization" thing, and think it's a rather reductive interpretation. A lot of things caused the fall of Rome, little of which had anything to do with women.
Disease,Corruption, idiots being in charge, natural disasters, Roman citizens not wanting to serve in the Legions leading to a lot of mercenaries being hired to take their place, the Huns, and a crapload of civil wars is just the beginning of a very very long list
Heck, one could argue that the adoption of Christianity as the official state religion contributed to Rome's fall, considering all the infighting that went on within the Roman church.
The thing though is that it doesn't have to be one single thing. Likely all of these happened which caused a cascade of destruction that made things impossible to recover from.
There are all sorts of speculation about why. But one theory I've heard is that the local men if strong will prevent women from wielding and getting more and more power hence local men need to be broken which works but said men while good for controlling and extracting resources from disgust said women cause they are not the strong man she wants hence lets import men who aren't weak.
Between this, the French Revolution's lovely contributions to this mess and the lead up to World War One and it's aftermath....
And then cry when it gets turned around on them like true warriors.
Well yeah, that has been the attitude of many nations and peoples. Its okay when we do it but horrible when you do it.

Murder, that's why they tend to state that "Blacks do not commit over 50% of all crime in the USA!" Technically true, but it leaves out a lot of important information. But that's to be expected from the Left.
