One of the annoying things for me (far away from the worst, though) about Covid and the following lockdowns is how conspiracy theories have run rampant in the British right. For example, I've watched what was a perfectly sensible minor right wing party that took steps to distance itself from the far right, descend into near crackpotism over Coronavirus and vaccines. It wasn't enough to openly oppose "the Great Reset", they've now started blathering about Agenda 21, NWO and associating with avowed anti-vaxxer Dr (former) Vernon Coleman.
Even the lighter part of the Right, David Kurten's Heritage Party, is fully onboard with "resisting the Great Reset." Jesus titty fucking Christ, how is it so hard for the Right to keep its mits off conspiracy theories? God bless Nigel Farage for managing to do it.

People said that colleges are leftist indoctrination centers. Right wing people said that its just in the universities and doesn't apply to real life and they will grow out of it but they didn't and we are now stuck with the current situation.

Slogans, or standard progressive tripe that we all know and hate? Besides, just from Britain's example, consensus has been up in the air about the Tier-system let alone Lockdowns. So god only knows how the Great Reset, if it even manages to make contact with reality, would be handled here. Even if there were this grand, mustache twirling conspiracy to level the world economy, their window to do it is about to close. The vaccine is nearly here, and with that even most doomers won't see a point to it anymore. The Great Reset is the result of elderly billionaires not taking their sleeping pills, not some shadowy cabal's decades long plan.
And these people have consistently proven to not represent the majority, and only have the influence due to an echo chamber of sorts. Not only that, authority seems to be steadily slipping through their fingers.
This has come at a very real price. Academia is seen as a laughing stock by many these days, its credibility already eroding even before Covid hysteria ran what was left of it into the ground.

People still go to academia and still get indoctrinated who become the progressives that push critical race theory and everything else. Why do you think so many young people are for communism? Cause of the push for it by academia and media.

Which, by the politics of most here, we are already doing. I don't see the point in tooting the horn over something that essentially amounts to a harebrained idea cooked up by people with no real hard power. It strikes me as more of a "Kalergi plan" than anything else, a mad proposal that will never get anywhere and we should treat it as such.
