Given the way they are practically tripping over themselves to roll this vaccine out, having already bought it in bulk in case it was effective, I think that indicates they might not be interested in keeping this up forever. Indeed, given this has likely been as unpleasant a disruption for most of them as it has been for us, I wouldn't be surprised if they viewed the vaccine as a ladder to climb down from this mess.

Who would that be? I'd imagine even a lot of big businesses, whilst they are enjoying the current increase in revenue, would like things to go back to normal before inflation and everyone going bankrupt fucks the lot of us. Most standard politicians get fuck all out of it as well. The only thing keeping this going is optics, and the classic career politician refusal to admit error.

What's stopping Big Businesses and Hollywood Elites being given special exemptions so as to operate?

Evidence of this? Because people have been telling me the Euro would eclipse the dollar for about twenty years. Last I checked, that's not even close to being true. And given the condition the EU is in, I'm not clear on what forces exactly could cause it to strengthen, rather than weaken.
