China Wuhan Virus Pandemic

the thing is if the side effects are better then dying then well that's a pretty convincing argument for a lot of people.

Depends on the relative probability of the side effects, vs that of dying from the virus.
And if one of those side-effects is: "the virus can kill you faster"...

Guys. Guys. There's a rumor going around that there's a possibility that once inside the body, this shit behaves like Dengue. Your own antibodies don't confer immunity. They enhance the virus. In fact, there was a paper published on this very phenomenon occurring in coronaviruses, by the researchers working in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, days before the outbreak occurred.

Well, that's fucking great - Brazil is going through Dengue season, number of cases this year is 71% above the number of cases in the same period last year. We don't have any nCov19 cases - yet.

Corona sharing similarities with Dengue huh? Is it possible that they end up conflicting? It would be hilarious if Brazil and loads of Africa got less affected because Dengue already gave people imunity. Though I am not sure it is possible with the Wuhan Flu I do know that you can only catch Dengue once, and the exception is hemoragic Dengue which is slightly different.

There’s no evidence of similarity, it’s just a similar mode of effect at a biophysical level—in a single lab study.

Nothing to see here, guys. It's a total nothingburger. Everything is under control by the CCP.

Scan the QR code hanging from the drone, dear patriotic citizen. You do want to maintain your social media access, don't you?

Disregarding rumors of an "explosion" occurring before that video was recorded, it's either a show of force or the PLA is withdrawing their expensive hardware out of Wuhan.
🤔

Anybody remember where the PLA's 11th Airborne Corps is located?

According to wiki:

Wikipedia said:
In 2006 Dennis Blasko wrote that the PLAAF Airborne Corps headquarters is in Xiaogan, north of Wuhan in Hubei. The airborne divisions were located as follows: the 43rd Division stationed in Kaifeng, Henan (127th and 128th Airborne Infantry and 129th Airborne Artillery Regiments), and the 44th and 45th Divisions also in the Wuhan area at Guangshui and Huangpi.[12]

So yeah, two of the three divisions in China's premier intervention force is under threat from this thing, along with the Corps HQ and (presumeably) their equivilent of the Corps trains. I suspect what we saw was them pulling those assets out to reinforce the perimiter of the quarentine.

In all seriousness, ground up Pangolin scale is considered an aphrodisiac/erectile dysfunction treatment in Traditional Chinese Medicine, so with the virus almost certainly originating in Pangolins for human transmission you know exactly who to blame.

You know, I’ve heard before that the Chinese’ love for all these superstitious traditional medicines is what’s getting multiple species of animal killed off and the Chinese to be hated in Africa

Honestly it's hard to feel sorry for these people. What a bunch of sociopaths.

Hibernating does not matter when there is demand on the market, some animals are kept in captivity just so they can be sold fresh at premium price in the off season. Also warm autumn meant that hibernation season started much later this year. And finding the real patient zero is always tricky, for all we know it could be an asymptotic carrier, who then unwittingly spread the infection.
