The early version really fucked with your lungs. Since it's been long enough the version that's around now is significantly weakened. I had the Omicron variant back in December and it never went after my lungs, so it was basically the head cold from hell for me. Chills were the worst part. The virus has, I'm told, mutated from something that primarily messed up your lungs, to being just another nose and throat virus.

My girlfriend did. It was really nasty for one day, crummy for a couple of days, and then she was pretty much recovered.

Glad she's okay. That's pretty much how my first, and so far only, infection went.

Pretty bad flu feeling for two days, on day 3 I was back on my workouts, by day 4 I felt fully recovered, except for the no smell which lingered for a few weeks.
