Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
Go ahead.Cans I guess.

Oh believe me there's likely to be issues no matter how one tries to navigate this particular shitstorm. Chances are it's likely to be in the form of partial reopening of the economy in parts of the country where the virus hasn't spread as badly. Of course regardless of what course of action is taken it's likely to be unpopular even if it is a good decision so good luck to whoever has to make that particular decision.I'm not denying that, but if we prioritize the economy above people's health, that's likely to cause issues too. Ideally, a balance should be found; but I'm not sure anyone knows what that would look like, because there's a lot of misinformation being spread around, on top of the fact that we still don't fully understand the capabilities of the Corona virus. I just don't think telling people to ignore it and go back to work is the right thing to do at the moment, especially when it runs the risk of making the situation far, far worse later down the line.
The bigger issue for the US would be how poorly your media has acted throughout the whole affair. Flinging shit at the guy in charge during regular times is one thing, but doing your best to sabotage the guy during a crisis of all things is a bit beyond the pale. This pandemic pretty much revealed how fucking
incompetent these politicians and governments are,
These idiots need to be removed from power before they cause even more damage.
When will people learn that holding China accountable for their actions isn't racist.

I actually do have about a hundred pounds of canned meat on hand.Go ahead.
From Straya posters on another forum, Tasmania is an authoritarian craphole that most of Australians would be glad to be rid off.I can understand other places, but why the hell are they going after people camping in places like the woods.

So far; I'm still worried about the potential for reinfection, and cumulative damage. We all need to consider that China fucked up themselves, which is why thier numbers are being hidden and are very large. They dont have the capabilities the US has for instance to manage to take care of its citizens. The US also doesnt go around killing its own people. Under a million will die is what I am getting. Millions will be affected. 90 percent of deaths so far have been someone with a previous condition.
What do you mean by cumulative damage? So far; I'm still worried about the potential for reinfection, and cumulative damage.
People getting sick with the virus a second time having worse symptoms than they did the first, due to it compromising their immune system, or causing lasting if not permanent damage to vital organs. Then factor in the potential for further reinfections, each worse than the last, and it may just be a matter of the virus wearing you down each time until it does kill you. What do you mean by cumulative damage?
Ohh. Do we have evidence of people getting ti worse the second time?People getting sick with the virus a second time having worse symptoms than they did the first, due to it compromising their immune system, or causing lasting if not permanent damage to vital organs. It was something whistleblowers in China were talking about early on, andOhh. Do we have evidence of people getting ti worse the second time?
Reinfection happens with the Flu as well (only using it as an example. Not saying it isnt worse!). I am just saying, we have yet to really have any people who have caught it the second time around doing worse. It was something whistleblowers in China were talking about early on, andTrain DodgerReveille has, I believe, cited research on that topic as well. Thing is, we already know reinfections could be a thing:
I don't know if people will get it worse the second time around, or not; but the potential worries me.South Korea reports recovered coronavirus patients testing positive again
