I would have accepted "clearly trump is afraid they'd find collusion," as a reasonable response to Trump obstructing the investigation too, up until it was revealed that it was a complete farce.Well, it seems to me there's a fairly big difference between "This thing could suggest there was fraud." and "Clearly, they're afraid it was fraudulent themselves." That's not just semantics, the difference between something being suggestive and something being clear is fairly meaningful.
