Which was my argument from the beginning it is a major power vs a minor power, like the US vs. Iraq the outcome was never in question, just how long and what the cost the Russians pay is.

Hard to say depends on whether they armed the militias before hand, I know extremist groups like the Azov batallion have their own weapons, but if you are relying on them, you have worse problems. although if they didn’t defend the land bridge connecting to Crimea the answer is probably no.

Ukraine gave the order earlier on to open the depot to all veterans that wanted to take weapons; but considering they got hit troughout the day, not sur how effective that was, only the ones in the cities would have been able to get to them in time anyways.
