He's substantially shifted the overton window on it though. That's just one reason he's great. Another reason is that he's based enough that people get so pissed off at him they start sounding like crazed loons.

yeah there is a risk of him ending up like Kennedy or MLK. problem for the feds is if they do that they turn him into a martyr and more people rally to the causes he supported. they shifted tactics for a while to discrediting and smearing people instead but people are catching on to their lies so it is becoming less effective.

Speculation is swirling around the possibility of FL Governor Ron DeSantis (R) dropping out of the 2024 GOP Presidential nomination soon.
 
He bet the farm on a win in Iowa and didn't even get within 10 points. Trump is so far ahead and showed that the polls were not wildly inaccurate despite many many DeSantis supporters claiming otherwise. hundreds of millions of dollars have been drained from donors coffers to fund this sham of a campaign. If he doesn't there is a possibility he gets blown out by 30-40 points in his home state. that would destroy him.

DeSantis should've waited until 2028.
 
The Dems switching parties for a day just to vote for Haley, who will just be Pence 2.0 and sabotage Trump from the inside, is probably going to be a pattern in places where Trump is at all competitive, and as a 'safeguard' against Trump winning.

With Haley as VP, the Dems can just put the blame for anything bad on the Trump GOP, and anything good on the 'we helped push Haley into the VP slot with temporary/short term party switching in tactical locations' factor.

And if Trump were to die in office or on the campaign trail, Haley is an acceptable choice to use as the person who will get blamed when all the bullshit the Dems have done the last 4 years comes home to roost.

The Dems have realized they might be better off letting Biden lose, and letting the GOP take the heat they've stirred up, than by trying to prop up the skeleton on drugs and facemasks/body doubles for 4 more years.

The Dems can take 4 years off, let the GOP deal with the aftermath of their madness, and come back to 'save America from the GOP' in 2028.

And if Biden does win, well, they can work with that too, and just let Kamala take over at some point when they no longer need to worry about getting Biden reelected again, while still blaming everything bad on the GOP.

And in some cases, the GOP hasn't done itself any favors (looks at the amount of people taking vatniks at face value and still thinking Tucker Carlson is trustworthy just because he's a Trump fanboy).

And he endorsed Trump. Also, Trump has said negative things about having Haley as VP.



Also, as a side note, Styx is just bad at political analysis when he tries to play 4D chess. His major predictions of candidates that he said were plants were shown to be completely wrong, as they've consistently acted in ways counter to what Styx has said.

Chris Christie, had he actually been a pro-Trump plant like Styx claimed, would still be in the race in NH to sap votes from Haley. Vivek, had he been a swamp plant, would also still be in the race to sap votes from Trump, not drop out and get a Trump commitment against CBDCs.
