The economist has been really vocal about the likelihood of Trump becoming president. Listened to a free episode of their america focused show today where they stated repeatedly they believe at least the Senate will flip red (thinly) and that Dems winning the house is an uphill battle. They ended the show saying a Republican trifecta is likely and much, much more likely than a democratic victory. God I hope they're right.
Let April 8th be the MAGA Day of Visibility!
Well... without cheating it would be a red sweep.
...but we have blatant cheating so who knows.
Honestly, I feel that the dems have gone too far and can't allow a non corrupt republican ever again. Whatever it takes.
This election is definitely becoming the flashpoint for the second American civil war.
Even with cheating, it might not be enough. Biden didn't win by much in 2020, and now he's much more of a known quantity to voters; so the Democrats will have a much harder time getting legitimate votes this time around. Which itself will be much more difficult this time around; because they have neither a pandemic, nor the element of surprise on their side in 2024. Whatever they try to pull, people will be expecting it.Well... without cheating it would be a red sweep.

Please don' help make some sort of self-fulfilling prophecy, you as well as I know that if enough people start thinking it will happen herd mentality will ensure it will, some of us are just trying to enjoy our lives what will happen, will happen, we don't need to be helping it along especially if it's bad for all of us.This election is definitely becoming the flashpoint for the second American civil war.

Nah, this is a cope. We lost last time because Trump focused on all the wrong things and all of his talking points were clearly prepared for a battle with Bernie Sanders. Trump had no narrative last time, he expected to waltz into victory, and he might have if it weren't the case that the whole country was locked down and would do anything to get on with their lives.Well... without cheating it would be a red sweep.

Nah, both Left and Right use voter suppression/fraud as copes for their losses instead of asking why the people rejected them. Neither is a serious problem. You may be in a bubble but I personally know over a dozen people who registered to vote specifically to vote against Trump that year, every one of which regrets it and is planning to vote for Trump this year. People who think Biden couldn't get that many votes legitimately are inside a crazy bubble because I couldn't go out for a beer without hearing about politics by the time covid hit and it only got worse from there. No, they definitely cheated. Tons of evidence and discrepancies.
If you think 20 and 22 were perfectly fine elections and had no shenanigans, that's fine.
I respectfully disagree.
Did I say it was not possible? No. Your are right a Civil conflict is probably a given within the next forty years, but even if it is that doesn't mean we shouldn't actively wish or desire for it nor help it along.“The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.”
Cherry Picking much? Civil conflicts happen for a plethora of reasons but there is always buildup and tension are always present, do you honestly think a civil conflict is guaranteed if a bunch of politicians stand up and openly proclaim it when no atmosphere or drive for it exist?People said as much during the english civil war.
The opinions of the regular people were meaningless the opinoins of the cavalers and roundheads mattered a whole lot more.
Sounds to me like you're the one here who's coping, because you want to believe that your vote is inviolable; but the facts don't support that assertion. Extensive vote fraud did happen in the 2020 election; and if you think Biden legitimately set the record for the most votes for a US presidential candidate, then you're delusional.Nah, both Left and Right use voter suppression/fraud as copes for their losses instead of asking why the people rejected them. Any candidate running against Trump that year would have set the record. You act like the record is some crazy thing when the person who got the second number of votes in US history was Donald Trump that same year, and it was only a couple of million less. I'm not delusional, I just don't live in a right wing bubble and understand how psyoped the entire country was at that time and I witnessed with my own eyes droves of people register to vote specifically against Trump. Every single person under the age of 30 had insane TDS and the whole nation just wanted the bs to end.Biden legitimately set the record for the most votes for a US presidential candidate, then you're delusional.
