Meh, I think both of those are non-noteworthy. His stumble was barely worth the name and wouldn't be noticed unless people were actively looking for it. Any particular reason you are simping for big corporations? And companies can handle big tax rates and more they did in the past and still do when they have to deal with places like China. I see no reason our people shouldn’t take a cut in exchange for letting businesses set up shop in America.

Basic economics would work like that. But sometimes if you are powerful enough example would be China or America you can stop companies by leaving by saying that if they move production/offices/whatever to other nations you will ban them from doing business in your nation, and nationalize whatever assets are left.
