Because the fact is natural immunity does exist, most people 'vunerable' to the virus are already protected one way or another, and people are not going to accept Wu Flu restrictions/mandates indefinitely.

There is no such ability to 'change' the situation once you get the shot.

I think the push for the vax is what turned people off of it, as well as so much information coming out, one can't know of it is true or false, as either side could he falsifying information.
For instance. The vax doesn't make you have any less chance woth Delta as ot seems, and there is a huge under reported amounts of Vaccinated people getting bad covid cases


I just think all these various things are going to drive us apart, and let the left play thT for us to fight against each other.

We may not all agree on the same things, but I think few people on here are actually helping thier cases. It just seems to be whining about one side or the other (I am guilty of this).

Is it a good idea? No.

You have to look at it from Mitch's point of view. If he pushes for impeachment (which won't likely make it pass the House, let alone the Senate), the focus and agitation will shift from the Republicans to the Democrats. Right now, a lot of Democrats are hammering the Biden Administration for what it has done. But it's not enough for them to risk the Republicans regaining power. So if there's an impeachment, there's a good chance enough congressmen will flip. And the Democrats are going to go in damage control mode.

Instead, let the media continue to hammer the Biden Admin without the fear of impeachment. Let the Democrats own this. That way when election comes around next year, Mitch and his allies can do a hard press on what happened in Afghanistan. Going for the jugular now just muddies the water. I know it isn't what you want to hear and maybe because you serve, you feel more strongly about this, but that's the situation.

Because I expect the next two-three years, with the pandemic raging, is not going to go too well for Biden and the Democrats. Let them own the damage.

I think The Original Sixth is frustrated about a lot of things lately, not least of which being that more and more people aren't buying into the illusion that everything can be fixed so long as his team wins the next political game of musical chairs; completely ignoring the fact that "his team", the Republicans, haven't proven themselves interested in fixing anything for a long time.

I'm sorry, but it's the truth. Impeachment talk right now is the dumbest shit for Republicans to push. Because it would turn it into a party vs party fight. And they would defend themselves by trying to blame Trump. Instead, let the media torch Biden for not staying. The media's morality is based upon being overly compassionate. They cannot really comprehend HOW the Biden admin just left the Afghan people to their fate. They're angry and they're going after every little mistake the Biden Admin has made. And in some cases, it's only made them angrier and more vicious.

Right now, it's just best for Mitch to let his enemies fight and beat each other up so he can sweep the board in the Midterms.

I think The Original Sixth is frustrated about a lot of things lately, not least of which being that more and more people aren't buying into the illusion that everything can be fixed so long as his team wins the next political game of musical chairs; completely ignoring the fact that "his team", the Republicans, haven't proven themselves interested in fixing anything for a long time.

No, I get annoyed when people are so pigheaded that they only see the world in black and white, then insist that I must choose one or the other.

The Republicans aren't my team. Neither are the Democrats. There's no reason to choose either team when they a) aren't fighting for what I want specifically and b) are in flux, so 4 years from now, they could both be very different. Why should I remain with either if they don't represent my interests?

It's their job to persuade me to vote for them.
