There is also the buyer's remorse option for the Democrats. Gee, you voted this guy in? Wow.

imagine putting everything you have into something, burning down your cities, destroying your economy, burning your credibility at every turn, censorship at a unprecidented level historically speaking for the united states, and physical attacks against your political enemies including in some cases actual fucking murder. On top of that in order to have a chance of winning you have to cheat at a level that most african countries consider to be too obvious, thus putting you at risk of doing actual time.

You do this and make these insane sacerfices for 4 fucking years burning god knows how much money and your reward for that is Biden.

The DNC establishment's Clintonian methods of control starved the party of any fresh blood worth a damn, leaving them with a gaggle of nobodies, the unreliable communist, and Obama's useful idiot. There's a reason AOC and her little cabal is so popular on the Left and it has less to do with their politics and much more to do with a younger politician actually gaining traction, even if the traction is mostly media fluff.

Incidentally, the GOP had this problem too, but the party's control shattered around 2010 or 2014 or so allowing Trump to slip in. And even before that the GOP was never as centralized as the DNC which allowed a bit more lateral movement in the party. That's why there's a decent stable of guys like Cruz, Rubio, and De Santis for the Republicans to fall back on whilst the Dems are desperately hoping that Buttigieg or Cuomo ripens up some popularity before 2024.

It all comes down to the fact that the DNC runs heavily on artificial control to maintain its broad powerbase, whereas the Republicans, partially through their own ineptitude, have been forced to run a wild mushroom farm and pick whatever pops up. When the Dems screw up they lose control and their house of cards falters, whereas the GOP can screw up and usually be no worse off than it already was.

There are pros and cons to both of these strategies (there's a reason the Left has had the political initiative for my whole life minus that inconvenient 9/11 period) and I predict that the DNC will start some radical evolution once Clinton and Obama lose their stifling influence. That can be turned around on the Right as well though. As much as we like Trump for finally punching back, he's going to functionally control the GOP for the rest of his life and that does have some potentially negative ramifications.

I have my doubts about that; the Republicans have a large contingent of politicians who are Democrats in all but name, and I could easily see the Dems offering to help them take control of the Republican party, if they manage to get away with cheating their way to winning the presidential election. In fact, that might very well have been the deal struck that led to the Lincoln Project.

To the surprise of nobody, it looks like Bar was covering up the Hunter Biden investigation.

In other words, he didn't want to open himself to retaliation from a potential Biden administration. The only question is; was Barr motivated by cowardice, or political ambitions?

That's because most of them were Carter voters who "saw the light" under Reagan.

Bill Barr works for Robert Mueller and Robert Mueller works for whoever pays him enough.

Wouldn't be surprised if they settle out of court to avoid what would be a really really unpleasant ruling about them being publishers.

It is my belief that Twitter should be declared either a terrorist organization or an organized crime cartel and its employees pursued with the same vigor one would pursue a member of MS13 or the imaginary right wing terrorists the FBI perpetually invents. One can make the same argument for large banks and certain media corporations.

Not a terrorist group. Hit them with RICO charges. This way you can bag a whole bunch of people with long term criminal penalties.

Well, I just finished making my way through this thread - so how's this all going then?

I have to admit, it was kind of sad to see people say stuff along the lines of "this is the end of the Biden campaign" given how things turned out, even if it was the result of cheating. Part of me wants to also say it was kind of surprising given the things that were revealed, but, I'm really not all that surprised given the corruption of the media.
