Even in death, the Confederacy can't win a victory.

I surprised they haven't called for Washington's grave to be yeeted elsewhere, given he was a slave owner and all.

And how could they do such a thing to the body of a former Democrat?
In Georgetown Texas they have managed to not get thier Confederate statue moved

Apparently the Kingston, Ontario local government voted almost unanimously (12-1) to remove the statue of one Sir John A MacDonald, who was the first Prime Minister of Canada, a statue which had stood in City Park since 1895. This was done on behalf of Activists trying to protect the feelings of the Indigenous population of Canada. Two Canadian military veterans briefly blocked the construction crew from removing the statue while holding up Canadian flags but stepped aside after speaking with police. About a hundred people, mostly protestors, gathered to see the spectacle as well as laugh at and mock the handful of veterans and other counter-protesters.

Video of some of the reactions can be found in the tweets of the article below:

According to polling of Canadians, only about ten percent of them support the removal of statues and other public symbols of their nations first Prime Minister.

Given Sir John A McDonald's personal role in the Chinese Head Tax, I'm not exactly angry that they removed the statue.

Still, I feel like there should be an alternative to doing so, like maybe adding a couple plaques that highlight both his accomplishment and his failings.

Some happy news...

The FDNY, New York City's Fire Department, has a new Deputy Fire Chief. His name is Michael Gala and he was refused promotion because he wouldn't apologize or retract comments he made back in 2007 regarding preferential race based hires who considered the FDNY racist.

New York Post said:
Michael Gala, 60, claimed he was rejected for the promotion after he refused a demand by FDNY Commissioner Dan Nigro that he disavow some decades-old letters-to-the editor, in which he denounced preferential hiring of blacks and women and FDNY members who consider the department racist.

Gala filed a lawsuit last May in Federal Court and the FDNY settled while admitting no bias.

New York Post said:
The city, which does not admit violating Gala’s rights, also agreed to pay Gala $95,000 for legal fees, and $6,151 in backpay.

On his part, Gala gave the FDNY a letter saying his “dedication to diversity, inclusion, and non-discrimination is unwavering.”

“What I love more than anything about this great department is its people. All of them — black, white, Latino, Asian, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, male, female, gay, straight, young, and old.” Gala wrote.

How about we do neither and keep the fucking statue of the man who presided over the formation of Canada using treaties and diplomacy? In his day he was regarded by people in Europe and the Americas as a peer of men like Lincoln.

We dont need to justify the commemoration of our heroes on the basis of non-white approval.

People are flawed; we don't need to be reminded of that fact 24/7. The purpose of statues like that is to remind us that despite our inherent failings, it's still possible to accomplish great things.

So uh; anyone notice that Scott Cawthorn, of Five Nights at Freddy's fame, announced that he quit game development because people were attacking him and his wife over the fact that he donated to Trump's campaign?

Also apparently the creator of Hazbin Hotel, Vivziepop, chimed in, lambasted Scott for being an evil Republican, and lauded him being canceled and doxed (even though she had previously been on the receiving end of cancel culture); angering people enough to want to dox her.

Well, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. After all, there have been other examples of people who have been on the receiving end of it who clearly didn't learn their lesson, so why should this person be any different... 😒

Guess I won’t be watching helluva boss or hazbin hotel anymore. That’s a damn shame, given they were some of the more creative shows on YouTube.

To bad the creator turned out to be a toxic lib. I would hope her projects crash and burn, but I’m sure they’ll do just fine.

You'd think they'd learn eventually; but unfortunately, people like this girl seem to believe that they're better than the rest of us, and thus deserve special treatment.

I just take it as a lesson to not place creatives on a pedestal they haven't earned, just because they happened to make something that entertained you.

Gonna be honest here, the Fnaf fandom is full of deranged wackos, so anything that strikes terror into their cringe-manufacturing brains is a good development, shame the developer is being raked over the coals goals for his donations. BUT, it's not like the guy could've predicted his retro horror game would become the object of parasocial obsession by Tumblr and Deviantart.

to be fair once SL location came out allot of the bigger degenerates kind of left on thier own. (I was one of the 1st gen fans that got to see it from the begining. ALOT of growing pains were involved.) that being said I can say for a fact that ther fandom as a whole was NEVER red-pilled and I'm frankly suprised that they are taking one now. Shows you how deranged the Left has gotten.

Looks like it's finally happening. That Theodore Roosevelt statue in front of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City will be removed. Apparently having TR on a horse being flanked by Natives in grossly stereotypical manners of dress is too triggering to bear after all of these decades. So the whole statue has gotta go!

Timcast said:
James Earle Fraser, the creator of the statue, designed it specifically to sit at the entrance to the Museum’s hall of dioramas, which is dedicated to Akeley.

Fraser said that “the two figures at [Roosevelt’s] side are guides symbolizing the continents of Africa and America, and if you choose may stand for Roosevelt’s friendliness to all races.”

Supporters of the statue have argued that Roosevelt was an early champion of civil rights and equality for black and Native Americans during the early 20th century. It is well known that he was close to Booker T. Washington and appointed Minnie Cox as the first black regional postmaster in the United States.

The statue was erected in 1939.

Show this to the online people who support Dems and have Teddy Roosevelt in their pfp.
