Technically a TV series but its starring Arnold Schwarzenegger so I'll post it here.

The show is called FUBAR and it'll be released on Netflix on May 25th.

Looks like they might be investing in a lot of "humor" for this show which could impact its potential quality a great deal.

I am not gonna even touch his movies after the FUCK YOUR FREEDOM statement and I am seriously deleting Terminator AND many other movies I have of him.

Thankfully I never contributed to his monetary gains since before my father was cunt he would bring me to the movies.

Blackberry movie trailer, about RIM, the company that created the famous smartphone.

And more interestingly, a breakdown of the trailer by a former employee of the company from 1993-2007 named Matthias Wendal

Needless to say, the eighteen minute reaction video to the trailer about the company he worked for seemed way more interesting to me then the trailer (or film) itself.

The film is meant to be a dark comedy as opposed to any sort of historical biopic or the like.

@Abhorsen this looks like a fucking meme :

Lol, but unironically, this is how gay/trans people should be represented when they are: just as people. I don't want to hear about another "Oh, my family was horrible to me" sob story. It's just a Trans guy in a horror movie, and as the idiot too. Why shouldn't they be the idiot?

If anything, it could be a nice de-woking of cinema if it keeps up.

@Abhorsen I will give the movie a shot. It's really one series I am hooked thanks to a friend and my mom. Army of Darkness is the most watched horror in Italy.

letterboxd.com/director/lee-cronin/ the guy didn't had that much of an experience or positive feedback. But Raimi and Campbell produced apparently.

Huh, tell me how it is!

For me with my ADHD riddled brain, I have a simple metric I rate movies against that pretty closely tracks if I'll enjoy the movie:

(Deaths + Laughs)/(Non-singing minutes)

With Deaths being instances of at least one person dying (an explosion is always counted as one, so Luke shooting a storm trooper and Luke blowing up the death star both count as 1).

Ideally, I like a ratio greater than 1, but that is rare.

Changing subject any opinions on this ?

I watched in Istanbul, with was my girlfriend (more a companion, me and her changed a lot thanks to each other) and I will admit that the movie to me has good shots and cinematography and perfomances and it unexpectedly un-woke to me.

I am a fan of The Equalizer movies. I just adore the trend of distinguished older actors being able to ham it up with ultra slick action movies. I think Taken really started off a trend. But Denzel Washington has been doing a fair amount of action roles after all.

I thought the second Equalizer film was decent but not nearly as good as the first one.

This one takes place in the grim dark world of Meloni's Italy.

Good trailer though. I liked it a lot. Very cool stuff. Hope it didn't reveal too much about the movie itself though. I'm glad he's back to killing filthy criminals instead of random CIA sideplots like the sequel.

Also it said this'll be the Final Chapter. Which I'm ambivalent on. I don't really consider this a franchise I await continuations of anyhow. It's just good action movies.

Wish we could take the mafias as Denzel does in this fiction. It's the 2nd American action movie set in Italy in recent times beyond John Wick so I am interested.
