So the Monsterverse is still going on.
Unexpected. Announcement came outta nowhere.
Expected release date sometime in 2024.
Technically a TV series but its starring Arnold Schwarzenegger so I'll post it here.
The show is called FUBAR and it'll be released on Netflix on May 25th.
Looks like they might be investing in a lot of "humor" for this show which could impact its potential quality a great deal.
Lol, but unironically, this is how gay/trans people should be represented when they are: just as people. I don't want to hear about another "Oh, my family was horrible to me" sob story. It's just a Trans guy in a horror movie, and as the idiot too. Why shouldn't they be the idiot?@Abhorsen this looks like a fucking meme :
Evil Dead Rise applauded for giving horror fans 'trans moron representation'
On-screen trans representation is on the up but Evil Dead Rise is giving way to characters that have been sorely lacking: "Trans morons."www.thepinknews.com

If anything, it could be a nice de-woking of cinema if it keeps up.
Huh, tell me how it is!@Abhorsen I will give the movie a shot. It's really one series I am hooked thanks to a friend and my mom. Army of Darkness is the most watched horror in Italy.
Changing subject any opinions on this ?Huh, tell me how it is!
For me with my ADHD riddled brain, I have a simple metric I rate movies against that pretty closely tracks if I'll enjoy the movie:
(Deaths + Laughs)/(Non-singing minutes)
With Deaths being instances of at least one person dying (an explosion is always counted as one, so Luke shooting a storm trooper and Luke blowing up the death star both count as 1).
Ideally, I like a ratio greater than 1, but that is rare.
I am a fan of The Equalizer movies. I just adore the trend of distinguished older actors being able to ham it up with ultra slick action movies. I think Taken really started off a trend. But Denzel Washington has been doing a fair amount of action roles after all.
I thought the second Equalizer film was decent but not nearly as good as the first one.
This one takes place in the grim dark world of Meloni's Italy.
Good trailer though. I liked it a lot. Very cool stuff. Hope it didn't reveal too much about the movie itself though. I'm glad he's back to killing filthy criminals instead of random CIA sideplots like the sequel.
Also it said this'll be the Final Chapter. Which I'm ambivalent on. I don't really consider this a franchise I await continuations of anyhow. It's just good action movies.
