Soleimanis replacement as leader of the Quds Force had some things to say today.

Jerusalem Post said:
Ghaani has connected Hejazi’s death to the war against Israel launched by Hamas on May 10. "In the first three days of the Palestinian war with the Zionist regime, we fired missiles at the occupied territories as much as the entire 22-day war,” he said, comparing it to the 2008-2009 conflict between Israel and Hamas.

I wonder if he meant the Royal 'we' in regards to saying we launched missiles into Israel.

Furthermore he had a bright future to comment on:

Jerusalem Post said:
He claimed that Palestinian children can look to this war as an example of how they will retake all of Israel and that the land is no longer well controlled by the “Zionist regime.”

He said that he advised all “Zionists go back and buy your own houses again before the houses you sold in Europe and America and elsewhere – and came to the land of Palestine – become more expensive than they are today.” This real estate messaging has also been made by Hezbollah in recent days.

Wow, if this is an example of how they'll "retake the land" (i.e. not doing much against Israel, not conquering an inch of land, and getting half their cities demolished by bombs in the process) then I don't think Israel has much to fear at all.

But all of this is basically for internal consumption, especially the part about "buying back the houses" (unless he's stupid enough to believe his own propaganda).

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
Give it another 10-15 years of endless fighting, and guess what? I'm going to bet that Israel carves out more for themselves out of the lands they justly conquered from Jordan, Egypt, and Syria in six days of June back in 1967.
Was the crusades that long?
The total comes up to 1.4 billion dollars. At the very end of the recent hostilities, the official publicized estimation of Hamas for the damage in Gaza was 322 million dollars. Now that the donations have started pouring in and they realized they can milk the suckers dry, their appraisal of the damages has conveniently gone up to "over a billion dollars". Keep the money flowing, suckers!

Maybe this will help answer the question of why Hamas always starts these wars it knows it can't win.
Did the Tamil Tigers get similar success milking it until the Sri Lanka had enough and began fucking them up?

They did, but the thing Sri Lanka had enough of was the Tamil Tigers' proclivity to run to the international community for a 'cease fire' whenever the tide decisively turned against them. It worked, until the Sri Lankan government(with Chinese backing) went 'No, this shit will END this time', stopped giving a fuck to the international community, destroyed the LTTE and did some ethnic cleansing against the Tamils.

Didn't they also bit India's hand when they were sympathetic to their cause? They killed the prime minister responsible for sending a peace keeping force that fucked up on the peace keeping.

I don't know about this one, because what I know about the Sri Lankan Civil War is slanted towards its final phase, but I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. The Sri Lankan government screwed up a lot, especially in the beginning and middle of the war.

It started like all those independence movements and India had relations with the Tamils so they supported them. One shit lead to another when it was time for disarmament by force and eventually a bloodbath of India playing Vietnam.

The Tigers took that badly and sent the Gandhi responsible a female suicide bomber so India went fuck it go do whatever you want.

Ah, so THAT was why Rajiv Gandhi ceased being a corrupt politician...

Really hope the ChiComs don't get involved this time.

The last time they got involved, Hamas nearly sank an Israeli corvette.

That was the INS Hanit that was hit by a Hezbollah launched C-802 Antiship missile or whatever, during the 2006 Lebanon War, while it was ten miles off the Lebanese coastline near Beirut. It's likely the Iranians were the ones who helped Hezbollah with those particular weapons which were previously unconfirmed as being in Hezbollah's arsenal.

The missile was of Chinese origin, Iranians simply made a copy.

The ChiComs sold it to Iran knowing full well what the Iranians would do with it.

I just remembered, that Henry Kissinger in 2012 said that Israel would last no more then 10 years. It seems, that he was wrong - i do not see any future before 2030 in which Israel could cease to exist.

And that's why UNWRA is basically Hamas' plaything and shouldn't be taken seriously, folks.

Head of UNWRA: "Actually, the Israeli strikes seemed to be very precise, and looks like Israel tried to avoid hitting innocents"

Gaza: *Mass protests against UNWRA*

Hamas: "You can't come in here anymore"

UNWRA is at the complete mercy of Hamas, and simply can't go against it's word without draconian consequences. As far as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict goes, UNWRA (and to an extent the UN as a whole) should be considered as a wholesale Palestinian actor, nothing close to objective or unbiased.

Not that it's shocking news, considering the fact that rockets have been found stored in UNWRA schools before, or the lovely people UNWRA employs.

That is largely because the various oil sheiks hold a lot of power due to the fact that they have a lot of easily accessible oil. Since they want Israel dead...

And the same oil sheiks who lead attacks on Israel in UN also make deals under the table with Israel to counter the Iran, in hope that Israel and Iran will kill each other.

Imagine if one day the oil fields just went up in flames. What would the middle east look like, then?
Two words: makes what happens in Gundam 00 look like a picnic. We're probably talking genocides everywhere.

More or less. Yeah, we're still dealing with the bullshit that the British and French pulled all these decades later.
