I really feel bad for Omars husband.
The poor guy has really been through a nightmare, what ever problem I have with his ex the poor guy didn't deserve this crap.
I honestly believe that the past few years and the coming ones of the 2020s will only be a mere phase, one that lots of people will forget, lots of celebrities and companies will move on
Which would be unfortunate, since the people involved in these witch hunts don't deserve to vanish into the mists of time. They shouldn't get away with it at all.
So it turns out there were issues with the Vic hearing; for example, at one point his lawyer Ty tried to hand the judge a binder containing tables of all the causes of action against all of the defendants with evidence. He refused to look at it, in favor of a similar binder given to him by the defendant's lawyer. I cannot be the only one who sees a problem with this.
Don't have anything direct, but Nick talked about it in his livestream tonight, along with everything else he saw as a spectator in the courtroom.Link? And vid, just to make sure
Also, win or lose, can’t see Funimation being so popular for long or having the same following as before
Not surprising, the judge has a history of doing things like these to ideological opponents. So it turns out there were issues with the Vic hearing; for example, at one point his lawyer Ty tried to hand the judge a binder containing tables of all the causes of action against all of the defendants with evidence. You think that's bad? Apparently, the guy had a case where he decided to throw out US law and use "Internal Church Law"; the state appeals court did not like this, and sent the case back to him with instructions that it must be reheard on “neutral principles of law” that govern secular bodies. How did Judge Chupp respond to this? He gave the case the exact same ruling he did before. Not surprising, the judge has a history of doing things like these to ideological opponents.
And he hasn't gotten his ass kicked by the higher court yet because...? Seems like he needs an asswhoopin' to stop this behaviour. You think that's bad? Of course the case went right back to appeals, and is still chugging along to this day.Breakaway Episcopalians win Texas church property fight

Honestly? He just hasn't done anything big enough to warrant notice. Government officials don't get fired for incompetence, particularly at higher levels; they get fired for being so blatantly corrupt, that the general populace starts raising a fuss. Even then, it can take years, or decades, for anyone to do anything about it, if they ever do.And he hasn't gotten his ass kicked by the higher court yet because...?
