Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
Yeah, that was the more left democrats and centrist ones doing a compromise. A stupid one in general, but what do you expect from democrats. No wonder MBS is pissed, it is a stupid from US side and he knows it.
That's exactly my conclusion and yet you thought I was bitching about that?

I concede you could see it that way when I felt they were cucked oil bitches but that's exactly what relying on foreign oil for your own domestic needs does. It makes any country a cucked oil bitch that if their constituents ever had a conscience realisation about the oil they got it from they better be energy independent before biting the oil sheikh's hand who powers their homes and industry.

Well, you are giving the impression that you mind it considering the stuff you posted.
The far left democrats involved are just wanting to have the cake and eat it too, because they don't want to produce domestic oil because muh environment and climate change, and they don't want to go full green primitivist because that would soon turn into anarchy with the sane people shooting at the primitivists for the supermarket shelves and gas stations being empty.
Overall though, in this specific scenario Saudis didn't exactly do something that USA should rationally consider a cause to rethink oil deals with them, quite the opposite.

Then let me state my position.

I don't care about Khashoggi's death enough to want justice for him. I care about what the elements in the Democrats did bringing it up it affects the oil supply because it's stupid especially when they cancelled the keystone pipeline and crippled the oil industry while giving away their strategic reserve which is why I shared news of it.

I remember the 1973 Oil crisis. They wanted the countries dependent on their oil to agree to their demands regarding the Yom Kippur war. In my view it highlighted a key vulnerability relying on a country that sells them the oil because they want to use it as a weapon to dictate their own foreign policies that effectively cucks their movements so I believe any country if they want to not be as cucked in case of another oil crisis better have alternate sources of energy to not be beholden as much to oil rich countries.

The whole affair is stupid and it would be stupid to pursue it but they did and Biden has been doing the rounds begging for oil everywhere. The Saudis, the Iranians and the Veneuzvelans except the last two US policy is to fuck around with them but they still did it.

MBS is nigh untouchable as the heir to a country that sells oil to the rest of the world. Whatever Khashogi's wife or friends feel on the matter they're on their own. That's the way it is.

Alleged Turkish Artillery fire killed a reported eight civilians and wounded over twenty more in the Duhok Governate of Iraqi Kurdistan in Northern Iraq. This area is apparently a popular tourist destination for Iraqis and others abroad, especially since it's located in a relatively 'safe' area of Iraq. The resort was apparently shelled, with some of the attacked apparently recorded by civilians in the area as it was ongoing.

Apparently most of the victims were Iraqi Arabs and not Kurds and children are reportedly among the casualties.

Turkey meanwhile has stated it was not them but potentially as terrorist attack, likely perpetrated by the PKK and is willing to join with the Iraqi government and investigate this incident.

There are already protests outside of Turkey's Embassy in Baghdad and other consular offices in Najaf and other cities.

Considering the timing, the region, and not happening near any fighting...
It does kinda smell of a special operation to remind everyone that Putin is famous for really hating such symbolic humiliations.

Despite it's heroic defense of the city, the grain silos should be demolished afterwards, as the extensive damage made it structurally unsound. The fact that it wasn't done shows just how dysfunctional the Lebanese politics have become.

It's basically the same story as the one behind the explosion itself.

Ayman Al-Zawahiri, an austere Islamic religious scholar, was killed in Kabul.

According to one report in the New York Times, he was standing on the balcony of a home when two Hellfire AGM-114R9X Hellfire Missiles Struck Him. This being the 'Ginsu Knife' variant which weighs a hundred pounds and pops out six giant metal blades. He was apparently afforded the privilege and honor of being serviced by two of said missiles.

I'm almost expecting him to be deemed an austere religous scholar except Biden is in charge and not the orange man.

At least six Iranian and Lebanese (Hezbollah) Advisors were killed when a ballistic missile they were transporting had a case of detonation, exploding in the midst of a Houthi Rebel Camp in Yemen.

Details are still slim at the moment but it's believed at this juncture, nothing of value was lost in the tragic explosion.

However some Houthis are reported to of been casualties in the explosion as well.

Not exactly in the ME, but given who was stabbed, figured it belonged here.

Edit:
Update on the attacker.

Very sad that former Muslims such as Salman Rushdie are getting violently attacked by extremist Muslim nuts! :(

German chancellor Olaf Scholz and his spokesman have apologised for not intervening after Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas said Israel had carried out “50 holocausts” against his people in the post-war era.
Middle East politics have arrived to Europe... And Europe wasn't ready.

Fifty Holocausts would imply either three hundred million dead which seems excessive. Perhaps he means that two thirds of Palestinians have been exterminated around fifty times due to Israeli action? I'm no Historian but I don't think that the proportion of Palestinian losses has been that significant.

He was saying every Palestinian village that was attacked was another holocaust, so 50 attacks in total. His standard for what constitutes a "Holocaust" is somewhat smaller than everybody else's. By about three orders of magnitude.
