Slovakia has been making some purchases recently. Most notably a Barak Medium Range Air Defense System from Israel, thirty six Piorun MANPADs from Poland and five thousand Colt M4A1 Assault Carbines WITH ACCESSORIES from the United States of America.
The Barak MX was developed alongside the Barak 8 with assistance from India but the MX system is Israeli designed so they can tailor it for other countries export requirements. The MX system has recently been purchased by Colombia and Morocco with other countries ranging from Finland to the UAE and Vietnam expressing interest in the system.

That's a very interesting combo of equipment. Why so diverse?
Slovakia donated its S-300 and SA-6 Air Defenses to Ukraine a while ago so the US operates Patriot Missile Batteries in Slovakia to provide the country air defense until they can acquire a replacement. I'm guessing the Barak is meant to be (at least in part) that replacement.
The Pioruns make sense because they're advanced MANPADs made by Poland and like the Barak is a pretty modern system. I don't even think Slovakia has many modern or functional MANPADs in service generally speaking and one of the alternatives, Stinger missiles I'm guessing have a backlog of production/purchasing. Plus they have good press from their use in Ukraine shooting down Russian helicopters and planes on video. The M4's I'm guessing will go to elite and special forces style units. Probably just diversify away from all of the Czech stuff they currently use.

Now I think if I was the current or previous gov of SVK I would have gone with the latest IMI TAVOR or the MSBS Grot B.

Don't F-16s have issues with narrow and very lightly built landing gear? Meaning you can use them from highways, but watch out for accident rate... there is a reason why that is called "first F-16 highway strip landing ever".

2.Sweden and France could be bribed,but USA lead by Democrats would gave us for notching,like FDR and Truman.
And,considering that deep state faked one election there,i except Democrats ruling to the end of USA.Would be 2040 ,i quess.
But its worse in other regards, some not fixable, like the logistics of not being the most common western fighter in the world, and some fixable at great cost (see: fully modernized Gripen price), at which point the option to get more F-35's becomes attractive. Some people think that might be cheaper, holy fuck.
The FA-50 idea is not bad either, it's based on a plane meant to be sold to third world countries due to being cheap (and it really is cheap which is another benefit) and easy to run, so if it handles crappy bases it should handle improvised ones too.
It's not that hard to imagine why they didn't want to fight World War 2.5.
