Because the kind of people expected to watch this would never think of something like that. It's exactly the kind of melodrama that Abrams would go for. And I wouldn't be surprised if it gets reversed somehow.

Just to remind you people; they're still doing reshoots. Two months left, and they're still doing reshoots in a vain attempt to try and salvage what's left of the franchise's reputation.

This is going to be a train wreck of epic proportions, and I am going to enjoy watching people tear into the film when it comes out.

I'm not. I watched one "and this is why TLJ is bad" video after it came out, and watched shdveristy's break down of the fight scene in the throne room, and now I'm constantly getting suggestions for me anti-TLJ videos. The last one I noticed was like an hour long, and it was part one out of six. Six. Hours. Of nitpicking a movie that came out 2 years ago.

If this movie is bad, we quite literally might never hear the end of it.

You are no fun. At least to me. These videos of bitching is far more entertaining then the actual stupid movies.

Plus, Fuck Disney. May said company crash and burn.

Hey, red letter media's prequel reviews were great, and I'm sure any given nitpicky deconstruction of the movie is probably pretty solid. But when everyone in the world is doing one, it gets little tiring.

When I here people talking about Y-wings, I want to think about gold squadron, not a bunch of whiny voiceovers asking "where are the Y-Wings, where are the Y-wings" over and over again.

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
Here's an archived leaked video of Galaxy Edge's Kylo Ren Ride if you're interested.

To be honest, it seems everything at this point is just a nail in a coffin...

Like watching a train wreck. I stopped giving a shit and will just see from a distance how it's going.

I've been hearing Disney bought their own tickets to inflate the numbers too.

Part of me is looking forward to that happening if it ever happens.

If you check the title page there's links for other news sources to investigate more.

More independent investigating would just need you to check the local cinemas for the tickets and seating.

Like this. You'll see local seats and can decide for yourself how well it's selling.

I went into all of the Disney movies with as open of a mind as possible. I enjoyed Rogue One and regard Solo with a shrug-and-a-meh.

I openly despise TFA as a soulless, sackless, cowardly capitulation by Disney, Kennedy, and Abrams. For all the prequels' many faults, they at least tried to take recurring Star Wars elements and reconfigure them in a new way while introducing new story elements. Execution left much to be desired, but it was bold and unique and had a compelling story.

TFA was a lazy, gutless rehash that cheapened everything that came before it.

TLJ at least attempted to do something new, even if often failed, in Rian's attempt to sUbVeRt ExPeCtAtIoNs. And it was dealt a shitty hand by Abrams in TFA. So despite the exceeding boringness of Canto Bight and the Space Chase, I'll watch TLJ before TFA any day.

So I was pretty apathetic about TROS until I found out Ian McDiarmid was back. Now I'm eager to see what they do with the Greatest Star Wars Villain Ever.
