I'd note that a lot of normal trans people are also repulsed by what's happening (Blaire White being a prominent example), and that gays are part of the problem (drag queens are not trans, they are gay men doing a performance. Even they don't even say they are trans, they say they're gay).
The problem consists of a few factors:
First, the LGBT community (or what it used to be) got all the victories it wanted, so there was no reason to stay in the various organizations that fueled the campaign anymore. Who stayed? Grifters and people who still felt things were wrong (read: crazy leftists who think everythings oppressor vs oppressed). Now the political machines that got us rights so quickly were abandoned by the honest, and left open to the corrupt.
Second, the Dem politicians hate success. They need to be perceived as fighting injustice constantly, but if they win, then why vote for them? So they kept trying to invent new oppressions until one stuck.
Third, teenagers looking to rebel and do stupid shit. Always been a thing, but now it's embraced by the political/managerial class. Previously, when young girls had a dysphoria (called anorexia) it was treated as a problem. Now it's something to celebrate and encourage. Now why trans? Remember how about 5 years ago they were inventing sexualities? That was the fad until college kids found out that pretending to be gay was all fine and good until you had to swallow a cock. But swallowing a pill, though a ton more harmful, is a helluva lot easier.
So basically, can we stop pretending this is just a trans problem? Cause it isn't. It's a bunch of problems, of which people with non-induced gender dysphoria have a very small part in.
