As as Abhorsen said the process of jury selection is being followed to the letter. There would be no legal grounds for an appeal.
Um, I didn't say that. If this was fair at all, it should at least move locales.

All I said is that having as few free dismissals as possible is good for Trump, not the prosecution, if they get the same number.

Well, some idiot went and did it, he set himself on fire outside the Trump trial proceedings.

He was taken in for severe(obviously) burns, condition is "not good". At least four other officers also suffered burns trying to put him out.

Yes, he is from Florida, insert memes and jokes here I suppose. But the fact some moron went and did it anyway...yikes. And in spite of the mugshot, no, especially as someone who works in a hospital, I don't find it funny at all.

I don’t care if he was for or against Trump, it’s still a bad way to go. And the worst part is that the people who his message could have made the most impact on will just dismiss him as a loon now, if they wouldn’t have in the first place. Assuming they even hear about him.

Well, considering it's all over the news, they're definitely hearing about it. And yes, it's a horrific way to go. You never want to see a burn victim, believe me.

From what I understand he's another redditor like the Free Palestine retard from last month.

The guy who lit himself on fire had nothing to say about Trump, for or against, in the stuff that happened yesterday.

Apparently what caused this guy to self-immolate was him trying to spread word/warning that NYU is now run by the mob.

He had a conspiracy theory that revolved around the Simpsons.
As well as the fact that apperently he thought Trump was in kahoots with the dems and was patt of the big lie
I stand corrected. Though my stance about 'burning to death is a bad way to go' obviously remains unchanged.

Not that anyone was dissenting that, just wanted to make sure my position was clear.

Anyway, oral arguments happened before the Supreme Court for Trump's immunity claims. This affects only his federal claims, not the Georgia or New York cases, tbc. He seemed to do well. Kavanaugh seemed to be open to a favorable ruling, which is big.
From what I heard, all the right leaning judges are like, "I can see how this would be bad for the entire presidency"
And then you had Brown and Seyomor going "Well...we have to go off the intentions they had in mind!" Or "it was not for national security reasons therefore!"
The fact that they dint want to admit this could be used by a republican admin to try Biden, Bush and Obama is seriously bad.

I think the expectation is that, once they get rid of Trump, they don't have to worry about the precedent being used against them; because with him gone, they assume the RINOs can then take total control over the Republican party, and force it to serve the Democrats forever.

Except it won't work that way and they know it.
They just hoped we wouldn't notice
