• The 'Comrade' title is now available in a fetching communist red for purchase by all of you capitalists who survived the Sietch gulag during the people's revolution. And in the spirit of all communists everywhere, it was broken until the capitalist pig dogs fixed it. ;)
  • Your beloved Boot here with a confession. The Boot tangled its laces and failed to properly set up the new Comrade user title. Thanks to the kind intercession of Emperor Tippy this failure has been corrected and the new user title is now actually on sale to everybody.

Not ALL the GOP or the Dems are part of the Uniparty. If they were, I’d be advocating for immediate revolt and revolution.
They may as well be, considering that none of them have a chance in hell of affecting any real change, even if they did get record levels of support. Just look at what happened to Trump.

Which is going to help stop or slow the Uniparty how?

Enough of the GOP and Dems are Uniparty for them to render the will of the people irrelevant, as we saw in 2020.

Doesn't help SCOTUS turned out to be cowards who punted, or didn't even address, any election related cases.

Supporting the GOP is just throwing money away till they oust the Uniparty establishment types (Romney, McConnell, etc.) from positions of power.

Did you miss that the process of kicking them out is actively underway?

I mean, I'd certainly like for it to happen faster, but it absolutely is happening.

I have seen it, and it's been baby steps in the right direction.

Also, the way they word requests for donations really needs to change, and stop feeling like they are trying to say 'if you don't give us money everytime we ask, you support the Dems'.

It's fucking annoying and burns goodwill.

Particularly when the campaign rarely bothered to cross check it's own databases for text vs email, and kept trying to double/triple up donation requests all the way up to Nov 3rd and even beyond.

I hope they actually do. To be honest, Trump and his team had two years to prepare for 2020 and had many indications something would happen, to the point that he literally predicted his loss via mail-in ballots that turned out to be questionable.

Fucking Liz Cheney is now trying to use the GOP email address list to email Trump supporters to try to get them to support Team Cheney and the RINO's who splitting from the GOP over Trump.

That bitch and her father are the two of the biggest Swamp Rats DC has ever seen, and now she has the gall to try to attempt to poach Trump supporters.

What is she saying in these mails?

I'm never going to get over how spineless Judas Pence turned out to be.
I always felt there was something off about Pence's relationship with Trump.

It always felt like there was an undercurrent of forced friendship and jocularity between Trump and Pence, and more than once I wondered if Pence was the source of so many of the leaks and such in the Trump admin.

What we saw on Jan 6th and learned afterwards is that those suspicions and misgivings were spot on.

Pence was pretty clearly the a relatively establishment pick to balance the ticket for the GOP. Pres and VP always pretend to be friends because that's good PR and that's what the public wants but it's never actually been true. VP is picked to balance the ticket more than anything else, which selects for people who aren't close allies. Trump had few die hard loyalists in his administration, and picking one of them to be VP would have been a mistake.

Neither Trump nor Pence covered themselves in glory on Jan 6th. Trump didn't march with his supporters and then ran away to the bunker for a few hours and then waited a few hours to smear and denounce them before Ashli Babbit's body had cooled.

Even with Pence, Trump frankly could not have pulled it off on Jan 6th and clearly hadn't been preparing to do so. Sure, Pence isn't great and the Right should not rely on him, but IMO acting like he was some sort of special Judas and not just an ordinary Republican obscures the real lesson here, which is that the issue is ordinary Republicans doing ordinary Republican half measures and failing to grasp the extent of the issues and what is necessary to fix them (something true of Trump fairly often as well).

Uh huh, sure, how about you look at Cheney and Biden and what they actually did as VP, instead of going on about the 'ideal' reason for a VP pick.

The shit at the Capital started before Trump even finished speaking, and no way was the Secret Service going to let him 'march' on the Capitol either.

Nor did Trump smear his supporters that day. I was on Twitter and watching events as they unfolded that day via CSPAN; Trump called for calm and non-violence before he was kicked from Twitter. The idiots who tried to break into the Chamber as the proceedings were occurring were fools and idiots who blew the last best chance Trump had.

Yes, some people were let into the Capital peacefully, but some very much not so, and there were no small amount of Antifa agitators disguised in MAGA gear, either.

I do not hold Trump responsible for what happened on the 6th, because the words he actually said (as opposed to what the media reported he said) were in no way incitement to storm the Capital or engage in violence. Marching peacefully, but loudly, outside the Capital was what I expect Trump actually wanted his supporters to do.

We will never know if Trump could have pulled something off on the 6th, even with Pence's traitorous ass, because the option was taken from him by Antifa agitators dressed in MAGA gear and who purposefully engaged in violence to give the Left their Reichstag Fire. He was also effectively silenced for many hours by his own lawyers and by social media suspending or banning him on false pretenses.

Yes? The idea that Biden and Obama were friends is literally just some bullshit liberals wanted to believe. They were and are political allies, sure. Political alliances are all "forced friendship and jocularity." As long as it remains politically beneficial for both sides to continue the alliance, there's no betrayal either.

Do you seriously think Biden and Harris have loyalty to each other beyond political convenience?

The rest of this is just nonsense. What did you think Trump's options for overturning the election were, exactly? What plan could there have been with no center of power in the country on his side? What plan that would look "peaceful" and wouldn't involve damaging any doors do you think could have materialized, given that the courts, congress, and state legislatures were all unwilling to back him?

The ability to stop a coup is the same as the ability to pull one off. Overturning an legitimate election result is functionally identical to overturning a illegitimate one. Trump had failed to get the media to confer legitimacy to him on Nov. 4th. Trump had failed to get the courts to confer legitimacy to him over the following months. He'd failed to get red swing states to confer legitimacy to him by selecting pro-Trump panels of electors. As of January 6th, the only avenue Trump had to keep the presidency was to prevent the remaining legitimacy-confering ceremonies from being completed (or even better, have them take place with him), to maintain the dispute and gain legitimacy from the fact that it continued to be disputed. The best way to do so would be to prevent the electoral votes from being read and certified.

Securing communications is an important part of an anti-coup (or a coup). If Trump is being silenced by his own people then that's called losing. If your own Secret Service is preventing you from taking the actions necessary to secure the presidency then that is called losing. But even if it could not have been done, it still could and should have been publicly attempted. Failure to do so is indicative that he lacked the will to take any action that would have actually resulted in him continuing as president.

Yeah, NY seems to have it out for Trump, and this is the latest attempt to go after him.
You know if I was a Billionare and some AG was trying to sham up dirt on me. I would hire some Private Investigators to expose all the dirt on the AG. And since it is NY you know the AGs are typically dirty as hell with few exceptions.

Should be standard practise for our side by now. They try to slander us? We publish their drug-abuse, murders of prostitutes, paedophilia, and worse.
